  1. Hi everyone, I've had Lap band surgery -- about 3 months ago, Dec 20, 2006. I'm going in for my 2nd fill tomorrow (band adjustment) - and have lost about 35 pounds. I only have positive things to say about the surgery so far for those of you asking. It's a great tool, but just that - you still have to make good food choices and exercise. Look forward to great conversations. Carolann
