  1. I know!!! I woke up this morning and said "Holy crap it's tomorrow!" My report time is 730
  2. I'm sure we will both be fine! I'm more excited than nervous! However driving to the hospital and waiting to go back will probably kill me!! Lol
  3. Thanks!! I'm getting so excited! I have a super busy weekend planned which will make it go by even faster!! How are you handling things?
  4. They told us to watch the sugar intake with the Special K drinks! With adding Protein to it I'm sure you diluted it though!!
  5. Single in Las Vegas! I'm also getting sleeved on 3/4/13!! I can't believe it's almost here!
  6. I am currently at work (my last day) and I'm so grateful for the people I chose to tell. I'm getting texts, hugs, and good lucks!! I can't believe we will all be sleeved on Monday!!
  7. Maybe you should try NOT taking a nap? I know it's hard but naps on a consistent basis will throw your sleeping pattern off.
  8. Holy crap I'm getting excited!! Tomorrow I go for my pre-op appt where we get registered, pay, and take the before picture. I can't believe I'm having surgery Monday!! How is everyone else doing!?
  9. What are your numbers? Elevated blood sugar is see what normal after surgery and with the post op fever. Your blood pressure? Narcotics can lower it but pain usually will elevate it? Do you normally run low?
  10. Lol! Naps don't count! I took one today actually! Lol!! I'm extremely excited. I've been getting everything together and started packing. I'm a planner so I don't want to forget anything! My preop stuff is Wednesday. I'm sure once I pay for it it'll be a slap in the face!! Right now I'm stoked!!
  11. Awesome!! Glad everything went well!!
  12. 7 more sleeps...!! In case none of you were counting!!! Lol
  13. 7 more sleeps...!! In case none of you were counting!!! Lol
  14. Yes I went. It was good. Pretty good mixture of band and sleeve patients. The only downside was that there was one prospective patient that had not done ANY research on her own, so she was asking basic questions. I did learn something about taking pills though. One girl said that she get nauseated with taking meds w/o food so she'd eat some, take pills with liquid, and eat more. The lead of the group suggested to chew your food up normally and put the pill in your mouth and swallow with your food. I'm going to have to try it.
  15. March 4th for me too!! 12 more days!! I can hardly wait! This is all I seem to think about anymore...
  16. I'm in Las Vegas but my sleeve is also 3/4!!
  17. I definitely agree with the picture thing. As much as it hurts to admit it, wiping has become a chore. I had already started the nutritionist appoints when this moment happened, but it definitely contributes to what I'm doing. I'm a paramedic, and a lot of my partners want to be fire fighters so they are physically fit. I started working with a new person, and he was showing me pictures on his phone, when he happened to have one of me on there, from the back. I never confronted him about it, but deep down we all know that he was making fun of me to someone. That hurt...
  18. Protein does help with healing. I also believe that it helps our bodies get used to the shakes as well as allows us to try some different kinds and find out what we like before hand. Also there's the weight loss aspect with drinking the shakes.
