  1. Hello all, I hope to get some responses, I'm feeling a bit down. Surgery was on June 4th, and only have lost 8 lbs, since surgery. which seemed only the first week. I have not lost a pound in a week! Is this normal? This is where I get discouraged and give up! Help so I understand this process!
  2. Hello had my surgery one week ago today. Since I have been home I have not lost any weight. I am feeling a bit discouraged. Is this normal? Am I doing something wrong? I drink plenty of water, can't finish any food I eat. Help!

    Any 2014 June Sleevers

Hello everyone! I came home Friday from the hospital, sleeved! Here are a few things I've noticed. First, it was super hard for me to drink liquids I think it had to do with the funky taste in my mouth. But, thank goodness for ice chips. I've also noticed that things are much sweeter than before surgery, ex. SF Popsicles. . I do not feel any hunger. I have to set timers to remind me to eat. I'm still in the liquid stage, it's going ok, have to eat slow or it does hurt, at least me it does. Things are moving along fine, haven't taken pain meds except at night. Starting to mix in vitamins in my food. I also noticed with the I.v. I did gain water weight. I noticed today I'm back where I was before I went in. Looking forward to this journey!

    Surgery tommorow!

My surgery is tomorrow too! I have to be there at 8am. Have you done the two weeks liquid diet, and today clear liquids? I definitely understand, I would go crazy if I couldn't drink an You will probably add a couple hours to that once at the hospital? Good luck! This is such an exciting journey!

    Any 2014 June Sleevers

Seems June 4th is a popular date! I'm having my sleeve done on this day as well. Started my two week pre-op diet on day 2. It's hasn't been that hard. 4shakes a day with up to 5 additional items like sf jello, pudding, soup and veggies. I realize just how much head hunger I really have! I am slightly nervous, but more excited on this journey for a healthy mind and Body! And it won't be bad to look as great as you feel! This is a very exciting time and I'm so ready to get it going!
  7. Hello Today I start my liquid diet. I would like to know how everyone got through this 2 weeks. It seems easy, however I know i know it's not. I do understand the necessity of this phase and know it's just that, but I would like to hear some experiences. Please share and keep the motivation moving forward!

Hi! I'm waiting for my approval, been a week, I'm a little impatient! How long does this process take? I'm also afraid they will deny me.
