  2. Hey, I'm 8 weeks post surgery down 43 lbs., 30 lbs since surgery. I'm really hungry too. but I think 15lbs a month is good. I think you are doing fine..
  3. ok, I'm having a time with the protein and the amount of food I can take in. The doctor said I can have a salad but I just can't chew it enough that it won't get stuck. I'm going to wait a little longer. I think I have been pushing the food thing a little fast. I might go back a bit to soup. I ate salmon and spaggetti squash, and of course no matter how much I chew, it sits heavy it my chest.
  4. @rdawson, When did you have your surgery?
  5. @ICandothis Are you eating Raw now and how far out are you (post-op)?

  10. Hey Everybody, I'm a little concerned, hopefully you all out there can answer some more questions. I am now 8 days post op and I am hungry. The swelling I was experiencing has seem to subside but now I feel like my sleeve is not as small as I hope. I drank a protein drink and I did not feel full. I ate 1 cup of split pea soup, 1 SF pudding and 1 SF popcicle and I still feel like I can eat. I thought after the sleeve it was suppose to take away your appetite. Is it just in my head. Please share Your experiences.
  11. I made it home Yesterday. I was sleeved 9/11 and having some heartburn issues, however I'm doing better. Good Luck to all the ones coming up.
  12. I am so glad to hear your progress, I'm just 5 days post op and heartburn is the worst for me, You give me hope that it will get better. Keep up the good work.
  13. The same with my scale. I bought the Biggest Loser scale, which suppose to have a memory of up to 10 people and it tells you your BMI and the amount of cals. needed to maintain your weight. If I move it thoughout my house I can get a 10lb difference. The scale is not the most reliable tool.
  14. @ smallvegan, did you do some raw juices post surgery, I'm thinking about adding in some fresh wheatgrass juice and beet and ginger juice for healing. What are your thoughts?
  15. This is me, I on day 5 post op. It hurts to swallow...
  16. Thank you for the info, I was starting to worry. The doctor put me on carafate and it's not really helping much. How about the hunger? I'm not really hungry as of yet but I can't really feel and pressure with drinking the liquids. when did you start taking your vitamins and did you crush them at first to get them down?
  17. Greetings to all, I'm in Athens Ga, and I was just sleeved in Gainesville Ga, by Dr. Henderson. I would love to hook up with others maybe in the Atl area to go walking up stone mountain sometimes or any other hiking trips.
