Has any used Dr Benavides from true results this is the doctor I'm using right now and I have not meet him but I don't care for the staff there we are trying to get my 5 history together and it seem like they don't have time to get all my records together

My lap band.doctor is working on all that I just gave them names of some of my old doctors

I have Uhc and I did not.have to do anything but have 5 year history of my weight

I'm not sure they said they needed that for my weight they never said anything about my BMI but not sure

I have united health care and all my ins required was a 5 years of medical history of being.over weight and I'm having a hard time with that , has anyone had problems with this and how did it turn out I have mine.from this here to 2008 but cant.find anything from 2007

Well I just did all my test today and they have to call my doc from the past to get a five year history of my weight I wonder how long that would take I'm hoping by the end of this week I should know something

Well I went for my appointment today it was great the ins company did not require anything I had all my testing done for the doc today and they said my surgery would prob be set for end of next month

Has anyone had surgery at true results in Richardson I have heard they are good with insurance company to help getting you approved

Well I called my ins today and they pay for 80% of it didn't seem like it was going to be to much I have to do I will find out Friday more in detail on what is required by me , have a appt for Sep 13th

Thanks to everyone replying to this all this make me want it today I can't wait to change my life style and lose the weight I have tried to lose for years

So you got the band taken out and now your getting the bypass

The only thing that scares me about the sleeve is removing part of your stomach

What about getting use to not being able to eat as much or not being able to take big bites or big gulps of drink , does it just take time to get use to ?

If you had it to do over would you get the lap band or would you go with something else like the sleeve maybe. I'm doing my research on the lap band I just have so many question like can you feel the band.does it bother you while doing any activitys playing with kids , exercise,sex just any everyday activity. Do you have any regrets??

Lori do you think there would be a waiting period since my policy is new but now my boyfriend has had ins.with them.for six years , I've heard there is like a 6 mo waiting period to file
