Good luck to you too I'm excited but scared my liver won't shrink

The past two days I have hardly nothing to eat. I have a banana, SF JELLO, 3 pieces of sliced ham and dry tuna. I plan on not eating nothing these next 6 days just protein water and Sf jello. Do you think my liver will be shrunk enough

Was just wondering if anybody has had this done to them cause imvscared my liver won't shrink enough.

I'm from Louisiana. I am having my surgery in New orleans with Dr. Charles Bellows. I cant wait. Are you on any special diet? I was suppose to be on liquid protein Aug.5th but hadnt gotten approval yet so my nurse pushed my pr op back from Aug.7th to Aug.14th so I figured they would push my surgery date back but they didnt. So,now im fasting like crazy for surgery to shrink my liver. Do you think I will be ready?

After google about protein pills I found one. It's at diet direct.com it's proteinex chewable.

I'm nervous, scared and excited! I can't find a protein shake I like though. Premier is ok but I still gag. I wish there was a pill for protein.

I also just got my approval on Monday and having surgery the 23rd. Did they put you in liquid diet? I'm nervous that my liver wont shrink in time.

On a liquid protein diet, can I shrink my liver in 8 days

Was suppose to start a liquid protein diet on 8/5 my pre op was for 8/7 and surgery being 8/23. My pre op got pushed back because of waiting on approval so I figured the surgery date was pushed back as well. Well I shouldn't have been thinking apparently because my surgery is for 8/23. I just had pre op appointment 8/14 and learned its still 8/23. MY QUESTION: will starving myself for 8 days be enough time to shrink my liver? I want my surgery so bad, can't wait to start my new life in a new body. I'm 5'4 at 248 as of today. PLEASE HELP

Thanks for answering. I know it was dumb on my part for assuming they would have changed surgery date but I'm really looking forward to it and don't wont to miss this chance of a life time.

Behave surgery in 8 days. My pre op appointment got pushed back so I figured they would push back my surgery date but they didn't. It's for the 23rd. I was suppose to do liquid protein for three weeks but I was stupid for thinking my date would be pushed back. My question is do ya think I will be ready since I'm not going to eat anything for 8 days?

Start my liquid diet tomorrow. Any suggestions.... My preop apt is Aug.14th.
