  2. I was sleeved on 8/23 and my first two weeks I was starving. It's head hungry mainly. It will pass be patience. I know your thinking what ever but a lot of us felt the same way. I'm 5 weeks post op and I'm down 42 pounds. It gets better.
  3. That's what my doctor just put me on, Nexium 40 mg said I take take it twice a day. I hope it works
  4. I'm 5 weeks post op and I can't eat for the past 2 days. I'm feeling sick to my stomach. I think it's acid, I've been taking prolsec but its not helping. Any suggestions....
  5. I totally agree, it was sooo nasty I could not hold it down at all. So they made me try again the next day, same thing I could not do it. So I had to stay 4 days in hospital and they finally did X-rays because I wasn't trying it again. That was the worst part ever!
  6. I'm dealing with the same here. I took tussin dm but burned all the way down and I felt bad for like 30 minutes after so I stopped taking it. The coughing is killing my stomach cause some of my incision aren't completely closed yet.
  7. I think this is normal for some of us because after my surgery about day 5 I was do freaking hungry. I'm now 3 weeks post and I don't get hungry really anymore. It will pass

  9. HOw long after surgery before you can start taking medication in pull form?
  10. I'm doing good, still have some sort of pain in my right side but will ask next week what it's from. Other than that I'm great. May I was 258 and today I'm 221. Good luck on your surgery.
  11. Did dr. Bellows leave some stitches on your incisions? I go back the 18th so I guess he will remove them then but scared my incisions will be closed up. I am having to wait 3 weeks instead of two to see him because of the hurricane
  12. I'm from Jonesville, La. And I used Dr. Charles Bellows in new Orleans. I was sleeved on 8/23
  13. I'm 2 weeks post op and my right leg from the tigh to my knee goes numb and tingles.
  14. Just to let everyone know, I did not have a milkshake nor Mac and cheese. I've been on liquids for almost 5 weeks and was having head hunger issues. Buts thanks to the ones who helps when asked and for the ones whom live to judge all I can say is God bless your heart.

  18. I'm 10 post op and for 2 days I've had a under my right rib cage. Anything to worry about?
  19. If you aren't holding nothing down I would see your doctor. The hospital would not let me leave until I did. I hate protein drinks. I am getting protein in by liquid (2 tablespoons = 18 grams)because I'm 10 days post op.
  20. I'm so happy, I'm 10 days post op and have lost 14 pounds. I can get really use to this.

  22. Jd13, thanks that helps my mind. Because my doctor is 4 hours away and is out til Tuesday. I will play it by ear but promise no more gum.
  23. M 9 days out and I was very stupid. I chewed a piece of gum and forgot and swallowed it. What is going to happen to me?
