  1. I am 3 mos post op and everytime I eat ANYTHING it comes back up in my throat. It doesn't matter what it is. It could be ONE bite of food and even if I chew it til it's liquid it comes back up. I don't vomit. I just keep swallowing and eventually it goes down. Liquids do it too. If I drink or take a sip of anything the samethin happens. I am on an antacid. Nausea comes with it too most of the time. Anyone know anything??
  2. I am 12 wks out from surgery. I had an IUD in to prevent pregnancy but still ended up pregnant somehow.

  6. Yep u read that correctly!! EVEN THOUGH I had a paraguard IUD in place I STILL got pregnant! I'm looking for advice and for someone to tell me I'm gonna be ok. I can't believe this has happened and I am so worried that this is the end to meeting my weightless goal. ALSO! I am suppose to eat 6 small meals a day. Any suggestions on high protein snacks to keep at work? Thanks guys!
  7. Hi everyone! I was having gallstones and now I have on meds to dissolve them. I will take the meds for the next 6 mos. and I just found out I am pregnant today. EVEN THOUGH I had the paraguard IUD. Geez this has been one hell of a ride. I am only 2 1/2 mos out

  9. So I went to the ER and they gave me a gastric cocktail whatever that is and sent me home. I have had the flu for 3 days now and am miserable. I am still in so much pain. I live in a small town with a small hospital and they don't even have an ultrasound machine. So they told me that it's just a bug. But I've never had pain like this with a bug. Could I have a leak at 6 wks out?? What are the symptoms? Could it be y gallbladder? I'm going to call my surgeon in the am but I guess I'm just going to suffer til then.
  10. I am in the ER with severe abdominal pains. I will let you all know what's going on when I know for sure.
  11. Ok because my sleeve is feeling sore. I'm thinking it's from coughing so much but I wanted to make sure it wasn't from the codeine.
  12. Hey guys I have the flu and was prescribed robitussin AC with codeine. I told the dr I was sleeved. Has anyone taken this post op? I am 6 wks out and don't wanna be in pain.
  13. I am 6 wks out. Everytime I eat too fast I get all clammy and sweaty all of the sudden and the. Feel nauseated for like 20 mins... UGH
  14. Blonde hair is before surgery black is 5 wks post. I can't really tell a difference in my face but others say they can.
  15. I still have my gall bladder. That's why I'm a little worried. Could I be having gall bladder problems now??? It's not normal watery stools. It's the oil in the water that's concerning me.
  16. So.... I am 4 wks out now and today I had a new and not so pleasant experience. I had very bad diarrhea and it was oil like. There was oil floating in the water around it.... Should I be concerned?? Really sorry if TMI.
  17. I just wanted to let you know that I know a lot of you are worried about pain after surgery. And I am here to testify that not EVERYONE has pain. Whether it be gas pains or incision pains some people do not have any problems what so ever. Everyone is different so don't base your nerves on what youve read from someone else's experience. I came out of surgery and never once had gas, nausea, or any sort of pain. I am 3 wks post now and I do have an occasional muscle ache in my abdomen but this is the first an only time ive had any discomfort. So cheer up!! You're gonna be great!! You are taking the first step into your new lives. GO GET U SOME SKINNY!!
  18. I'm 3 wks post op and still smoking 10 cigs a day.... I have tried so hard to quit but when I do all I want to do is graze eat. So for now I'll smoke and as soon as I can get this eating and working out thing AND my emotional struggles with this surgery under control I will try to quit again. I can only handle one thing at a time. I am only human. But I am glad to hear that I shouldn't fall over dead from smoking post op. As much as I am afraid to die, you can see that I am also terribly addicted to smoking. I acknowledge this and I know that is the first step to stopping. I am also tired of seeing people bash others for something they are struggling with. We are all different people with different emotional and physical battles.
  19. I've had back pain since surgery also. Have u had this?
  20. No problems at all digesting the wrapper. I also had a harder time cutting it. And honestly I knocked off a lot of the so I wouldn't have so many carbs. Kept a tiny bit on and it went down great.
  21. What is flexall and where can I get it? I was so worried that I messed up my sleeve somehow. So glad to know this is common.
  22. I could only get down 2 pieces of a California roll but it sure was good.
