  1. -- I'm almost in the same situation. I became pregnant about a month after surgery with an IUD in. I'm so very sorry for your loss. I pray everyday for my unborn baby I just found out recently that we are having another girl. I AM however happy to know that I am not the only one who was so very fertile after surgery.
  2. Sleeved Aug 2. Before: 330 Lbs Day of Surgery: 300 lbs Today: 223 lbs I will post before and after pics tomorrow BUT I am also 4 mos pregnant so I will have a baby belly lol. Wasn't planned. I had a paraguard IUD in and my husband and I still ended up pregnant with our 3rd baby girl a blessing Ofcourse!
  3. Thanks everyone! I do pack a lunch often. But sometimes I just get so fed up with the same things. I have found that a 1$ side salad and a grilled chicken wrap at McDonald's works well. I just take out the chicken and add it to the salad and get the fat free Italian dressing. Add it all together then shake it in the container. I focus mainly on the chicken but I get some salad in. I'm proud of McDonald's for offering a small salad on the 1$ menu.
  4. Any suggestions on what to eat out post op?? Us normal busy moms don't always have a chance to eat from home. In our town we have sonic, McDonald's, church's chicken, Pizza Hut, and Whataburger. That's it. Any suggestions??
  5. Maybe you like the saltiness? I personally don't like it.
  6. Yes! I love salmon. But I love tuna in water. I l have tried albacore. It's just so weird that it makes me nauseated for a good 2 hours after eating it.
  7. I would think it may be the way I make it but I eat those things altogether with out the tuna all the time and don't get sick. I dunno. I wonder what it is about tuna. I love it so much my mouth is watering right now thinking about it lol!! But my poor ol tummy just doesn't like it.
  8. Ok so I'm 5 mos out and the only thing that bothers me is TUNA. Tuna was the first mushy meal I had post op and I threw up all afternoon. Before surgery no tuna problems. I had it today and got sick again. What gives? I love tuna with veggies and a little oil and vinegar. Anyone else in the same boat?? Other than that I really don't have any problems except eating too fast.
  9. Ofcourse everything I eat only comes out to about 4-5 oz of food.
  10. YES! I was sleeved on Aug 2. I have lost 110 lbs to date. I am also 3 mos pregnant. I eat a well balanced meal at every meal. I eat my protein, then my veggies and or fruit, then some of my starch or carb. I am full and satisfied.
  11. I drank 1/2 cup of water mixed with 1/2 cup of white grape juice WITH SUGAR and it helped me nausea. And is also helping with nausea now that I am 3 mos pregnant and have all day morning sickness .
  12. It will!! Congrats on your new beginning after the 3rd day things will get easier and the discomfort will subside. Good luck to you!
  13. Very very normal!! It will last for about 3-4 wks. I know it's hard and uncomfortable. Honestly sometimes I was afraid to pass gas because I didn't want to have an accident. It will pass. When you start eating more dense proteins it will get better. Then you'll wonder why you are going for like 3-4 days at all. And it's because you eat so little it takes time to push everything through your intestines. Everyone is different. REMEMBER THAT
  14. I have this problem also. I am 4 mos post op and have ALL DAY extreme nausea. BUT I am also 3 mos pregnant. So it could be pregnancy sickness or it could be sleeve. OR even both. I take zofran every 6 hrs but it doesn't help :'(
  15. Numbers please!!! Starting weight: 330 lbs Day of Surg: 300 Today: 228 SO exciting!!!
  16. I thought I was alone in the pregnancy sickness diet situation. I'm only 10 wks and as of right now EVERYTHING I eat make me nauseated. I'm having such horrible all day sickness . I'm praying it gets better soon.
  17. I am 3 mps post op and 10 wks pregnant. I did not plan this pregnancy either. In fact I had an IUD in an still got pregnant. I also am having all day sickness and severe acid reflux. My Dr prescribed me zofran for my sickness but it doesn't help much. I believe in Gods plan and I believe that if you are suppose to have this baby you will. It wasn't a mistake becoming pregnant. I am staying optimistic and praying the sickness ends soon. I was sick with my other two until 14 wks with both. Stay strong!
  18. And it's only been happening for about 3 wks now
  19. Well here's the thing, I recently found out that I am pregnant so I don't know that there's much I can do about it now so I'm scared to find out something is wrong
