  1. I was gonna ask about ur gall bladder!! Hope they get it all figured out!
  2. I am 8 mos post op and almost 8 mos pregnant. I got pregnant 2 Wks after surgery by accident. I had a para guard IUD and still ended up pregnant. My first trimester was hard. I was very sick all day. But at about 6 mos that got better. I have lost over 115 lbs since my surgery Aug 2. And my OB and surgeon say that's fine. My baby is 100% healthy and she's a very active girl Congrats! This is my third! Children are so amazing and they're what keeps me going everyday.
  3. I am 8 mos post op and almost 8 mos pregnant. I got pregnant 2 Wks after surgery. And NOT on purpose. I had a para guard IUD in and still became pregnant. I have lost over 115 lbs and my baby is alive and thriving. I have not gained a lb yet. But now I have stayed the same weight for about a month. I still get discouraged because I don't see the scale going down. But I understand that I'm pregnant and should be thankful that I haven't gained anything. I still have about 80 lbs id like to lose post baby. So I'm hoping that can be accomplished. I eat about 700-800 cals a day and both my surgeon and OB are completely fine with that. I still feel restriction.
  4. Every time I eat I feel like my food doesn't digest but I feel and hear my sleeve doing something. It's a yucky nauseous feeling for a good hour after eating. I'm 8 mos post. Is this normal?
  5. I have to get mine out in July and right now I'm 8 mos post op almost. Every time I eat right now I feel icky and like my food won't digest. Is this because of my gall bladder and will it hopefully get better after removal? I'm tired of dreading having to eat
  6. Need to add that I have lost 115 lbs since I found out I was pregnant. I still have about 80 I want to lose to get to goal I feel like ill never get there
  7. So I am 8 mos post op ALMOST. I am 7 mos pregnant. And I understand that this is expected but I can't help but feel sad that I've only lost 2 lbs since the beginning of Feb and before people say WELL YOU SHOULDN'T HAVE GOTTEN PREGNANT!!! Let me just make sure you are aware that I had the para guard IUD for birth control and still ended up pregnant. So I am very thankful that my baby is still here with us today at 7 mos. I am a very lucky woman and am very very thankful.
  8. Yes I will . Yes I get really tired of being asked "Oh my God! Is the baby going to be okay?" Like I don't see my Dr regularly. People definitely freak out lol. But all is well I assure ????
  9. I thought we were all adults anyway? Joking about his wife's taco isn't necessarily flirty lol. Geez people need to lighten up.
  10. I'm doing pretty good the first 5 mons were hard. I was on zofran everyday for extreme nausea. A mixture of nausea from surgery AND pregnancy altogether. But now I am doing great. I have lost a total of 115 lbs. I had surgery Aug 2. And found out I was 6 Wks pregnant at the end of Oct sometime. Baby is very healthy. The healthiest out of all 3 of my children while in womb. It's been a wild ride. I can definitely say I am ready to have my body back to myself and to e able to tweak and tighten up. I still have about 80 lbs til my goal weight. But only 65 to my Dr goal weight
  11. Haven't went in 14 days..... Drank one cup of coffee this am and BOOM!!! I'm 4 lbs lighter!!! Not allowed to use actual laxatives because I am 7 mos pregnant. Whew! What a load off!
  12. Everyone's sleeve size is different. I have noticed that male sleeve patients can usually eat more than female. I wonder why? Interesting. I have also found that at 8 mos post op and 7 mos preg I can eat slightly more than the normal sleeve patient. Not by much. But by enough to freak me out
  13. Actually this one is more accurate. The one before is at 5 mos post. This is 8 mos post.
  14. I would post of my body butttt I'm 8 mos post and 7 mos preg sooooo that kinda defeats the purpose. But here is my face 8 mos post
  15. I don't really know. I only consume about 800 calories a day. It could be that I chase my 1 and 2 yr olds around all over the place. I was told by my surgeon to lay off the cardio because I was losing too fast. So I haven't done any cardio for about 6 mos. I get sick pretty often from pregnant and probably surgery mixed. But the baby is doing great!
  16. I am 7 mos post op and 7 mos pregnant. I had an IUD and still ended up becoming pregnant. My pregnancy is also unplanned but still a blessing my baby is doing very well an I've lost 115 lbs in these 7 mos. I still have 80 lbs to lose but I know I will be able to do that once she gets here. Everything will work out for the best I will say that this pregnancy has been the best even with the more nausea I've had.
  17. Praying for everything to work out Paige! So sorry you're having to deal with this!
  18. I am 7 mos out and am nauseous everyday. BUT i am also 7 mos pregnant lol. Sorry I can't be of much help. I'm hoping once baby gets here I will feel a whole lot better
  19. My first one was late after surgery but.... I found out I was pregnant. I am 7 mos post op and 7 mos pregnant. I got pregnant a week after surgery. I had an IUD and still ended up pregnant. I figured I was late because of surgery and the drastic changes my body was facing. Never even thought to take a pregnancy test until morning sickness began. I don't want to scare you, but if this keeps up please take a test to be sure.
  20. You will be fine don't stress!!! Get ready for a new life!
  21. I am 7 mos out and down 115 lbs. 80 more to I but I am also 6 mos pregnant. I have a couple sips of fizzy drinks every now and then but the carbonation makes me feel so yucky it's not very often.
