  1. Hey all! Im about 11.5 weeks out. Started at 260 now at 230. 30 lb loss post op. I have not lost a pound in a month. I eat 900-1200 cal a day. 50-90 carbs. 60-100 grms protein. I work out 3x a week. For all that went through a stall, how did i get out and how long were u in it?? Getting sad .
  2. Hey guys. I am about 2.5 months out. I started at 260. Im now 230. Everyone that was dine in Jan seem to be waaaay past me on the loss. Lots of them down 40-50 pounds at least. Ive been stuck for weeks. Scale hasnt moved. I work out like 3x a week. Would do more but work and have school. I eat about 1000 cal a day, 40-90 carbs, 60-100 protein. About 45-60oz of water. I know pcos would make it slower, but is this really slow?? What dis u guys do to achieve success? I hope this works for me. .
  3. Done 1/7. Down 30. Starred at 260 now 230. Haven't lost a a thing in a month. I eat good. I exercise. What am i doing wrong?? .
  4. Yes. Very normal. I crave all the time but not like i used to. I have trained myself to eat very well but if i am really craving something i eat it. You can only take in a few bites anyways. Just dont give in all the time. 1x a week maybe. I was dying for an oatmeal cookie and i had one. Nothing happened. I didnt blow up. Lol. No wt gain. We are human. Do an extra workout if u cheat!
  5. Jan 7th. Down 35, 5 pre and 30 post. Starting wt 263.
  6. I am 9 weeks out. Average 800-1100 a day. 60-100 grams of protein, 30-80 carbs. 35 grms of fat. Down 35 pounds. I have a few cheats here and there. But it makes u stall! So i am doing my best to not cheat for the full first 6 months. Hard!! I see my nut tomorrow, will see if a Skinnycow ice-cream bar is a cheat. Hope not.
  7. I like this thread! I feel like j m slow compared to the super fast losers. I am 2 mos out, down 30 pounds. I think its good but others are losing like 40 pounds by now. I also have PCOS so i was expected a slow loss. But i have lost 1 lb in 2 weeks. Is this a stall?? Maybe. My nut doesnt believe in stalls. I get 800-1100 cal a day. I dont think i drink enough. The only thing i feel u do wrong is have a couple bites if a cookie here and there and maybe a weight watchers ice cream pop. Kill me! Lol. I eat my meals over time, not at one sitting. For ex, Wendys large chili.. Ate it from 1:30pm-4 pm taking breaks. Is this bad?? Ugh. Just want to make sure im in track.
  8. So far we are all on the same track. Im down 30.
  9. Please advise of your surg date, wt lost, calorie intake, ect. Have u had a stall?? Thank u!
  10. 600 cal a day... I couldnt live! Lol. Each surg has their own plan. When i go back to see nit i am going to talk more about calories. Before it was just get in protein. I could easily do 1200 a day but i feel thats too much too early, so will power! I always hit at least 800-1000. I am losing about 2lbs a week. Any less cal my energy would be so low.
  11. How many calories are you intaking? How many carbs? I am 2 mos out. Avg 800-1000 cal a day.
  12. I am 6 weeks out. I eat about 1k calories a day. 60-90 grams of protein, 30-70 carbs. I eat some bread but no rice or pasta. Carbs are coming from dairy and fruit mostly but i sneak in a piece of chocolate a few times a week. I can eat beef, but i haven't tried steak bc i dont care for it. I eat what i want most of the time but use common sense. I stay away from fried foods and pastry, though i have had a bite here and there. I am down 30 pounds since 1/1/13. Losing 2-3 lbs a week. Going to start working out this week and maybe that 2-3 lbs will increase! But if not that is ok. I am losing and i am happy!!!
  13. Well im doing that so i guess jm ok. Just in my packet it says you should not get more than 25% of you calories from fat and i am getting about 35-40% from fat. Too much cheese maybe.
  14. Anyone in soft foods? Can you give me n example of your daily menu?? I seem to be eating too much according to mfp!
  15. Also, how was your protein i take the first 3 mos? This seems to be a big factor, right?
  16. I never really took offense. Many people associate burgers as junk and fast food only. But if done right, its more nutritious than a chicken cutlet over salad! I did this surgery to control my portions and i will take 1/8 of a good burger than none. Quality and moderation, thats my thing. We all love them! Lol
  17. I did! Lol. I love burgers and want to experiment with sleeve friendly recipes. I do not want to go to mcds for their dried out processed burgers. Ugh. No thanks! Not pre sleeve and not post sleeve! Not all burgers come from mcds nor are they created equal.
  18. Yea, i didn't think my cheeseburger post would turn out like this. Lol *sigh*
  19. I live in NYC and hardly visited McDs bc there are hundreds if better burger places out here. There is a Bareburger by me, which is organic lean burgers with real cheese and you can pick a wheat bun or lettuce wrap. Obviously i would choose this place over Mcds, i do not even enjoy them. Burger does not always mean fast food. I am a foodie so quality over quantity for me. I do not plan on even attempting a burger until like 4 months out, i can hardly tolerate pureed chicken. I do believe the sleeve is the tool to teach moderation and to not deprive yourself of "no no foods", we just need to be smart.
