  1. My dr said take 15ml milk of magnesia 3e times a day, take citrucel, and eat watermelon. It worked perfectly. After a couple weeks of severe constipation I really needed relief! Watermelon is actually a natural colon cleanser
  2. My Grandfather is. From New Brunswick!
  3. I did that. Nada still. I'm just going to have to be patient. For me that is the hard part since I wasn't born with the patience gene lol!
  4. Sierra Vista is about 160 miles from Mesa. It usually takes me about 2.5. Hrs to drive down there. I really need to get down there. I miss the San Pedro River Valley!
  5. That is where I had mine done wih Dr. Chen. He is amazing!
  6. So many AZ sleevers! This is great!
  7. My doc told me to drink lots of water (more than 80 oz), eat watermelon, and take mom 15ml three times a day. It worked like a charm. I actually had to look up the watermelon, as I was sceptical. But, water melon is actually a natural colon cleanser. Who knew? I am now going regularly without a hassle.
  8. I would ask your doc as some muscle relaxers are NSAID based. When I was in the hospital they gave me lorazapam for the spasms, but it took awhile to get because there was debate over the NSAID issue.
  9. That is exactly what my Dr said. At 5 weeks it just went away. I just woke up and it was gone.
  10. Also wearing a girdle REALLY helped a lot!
  11. I had that exact pain. It went away then came back with a vengence. it was horrible, then at 5 weeks it just disappeared one day. My surgeon said it was a pulled muscle from sneezing. It radiated right around my back and felt like my rib was pulling it. I had to be very careful how I moved or sat. Hang in there, it does get better!
  12. Congrats on getting sleeved btw!
  13. Haha! Always better to error on the side of caution lmao!
  14. Lol! Thank you. I just need toss my scale I think.
  15. Haha! Excellent choice!
  16. Thank you everyone for the encouragement!
  17. I feel ok. I would feel much better if the scale was going down! I started at 300 so I still have 80-90 lbs to go. I'm terrified it just isn't going to come off like all other attempts! Although I know logically that probably is not the case, emotionally it is kicking my butt! I don't see a 40 lb difference in the mirror either. Although I can breathe A LOT better, so I'm assuming much of that 40 lbs is internal fat surrounding my organs. I'm very happy to have that gone! Patience has never been my strong suit lol! I don't need to be "skinny" but I do need to be fit and healthy and 260 lbs ain't it! Reading a lot probally hasn't helped me either. I always expect to see the crazy results other people see, although I know it isn't realistic to judge by other people's experience. It wouldn't be so bad if the scale moved AT ALL, but it isn't. For the last two weeks I have seen the SAME number every morning grrrrr!
  18. I'm normally not a drama queen. I would walk tem miles up hill in a blizzard to avoid drama. But, I am convinced I'm going to stay stuck at 40lbs lost! In 6 weeks I have been stalled 3! Ii have tried everything I can think of to no avail WTF?!!!
