  1. Have any of you experience stomach pain. It's like a aching pain and it also makes my lower back ache as well. My stomach feels like its super tender on the inside and it should be after surgery right? I'll be 2 weeks out Wednesday.
  2. It's only natural to feel that way . I looked on YouTube @ MsDivaDimmples videos and that helped me through my process . Research and ask your Dr. all the questions you have. This is a life long commit on our part to be healthy and love who we are. Everything is gonna be fine! Best of luck... This site has helped me a lot as well

  5. Welcome!! On the day of surgery my nervous got the best of me but I prayed and prayed and the next thing I remember I was in the recovery room. After surgery was not a all in the park. I was in pain and I couldn't drink anything. My advice is for you to prepare yourself mentally. Food as you know it now will be different. I'm almost 2 weeks out and can't believe how different my taste buds have change. I want to eat but I can't and that's something mentally that I'm struggling with. Listen to your Dr. And your body. I hope this helps some!!
  6. You looking great girl!! What is your eating routine and what types of exercise are you doing?
  7. Will I ever enjoy food again? How long does it really take for one to get use to their new eating routine? Random question.. I'm almost 2 weeks out and can't get down liquids like I need and can only take about 2 to 3 bites of purée foods.
  8. The sugar free Popsicles are what's saving me. It seems if I drink a sallow of liquids I'm full!

  11. I'm actually one week out today and all of this stuff I bought is a waste to my new stomach. I'm taking the shakes back to SAMs!!! I have to get some protein in so I can get some energy! I'm on purée foods so maybe I can get some in that way. But I got to do something
  12. Thanks, I'm going try it tomorrow
  13. I was sleeved on the 6th and its been really hard to get the Protein and Water down but I'm eating like 10 Popsicles a day. I feel better today and I'm up moving around more. My plan is to get more protein in but my doc told me to focus on liquids right now. This has truly been an experience and I'm down 15 pounds since surgery. Good Luck Sleevers!
