I just tried turning data off and back on again... still says connecting to remote site... ugh

Let me know if that works... I've tried re booting my phone, uninstalling and reinstalling the app, nothing works

Glad you're doing good and coming home soon. It's nice to hear good stories this close to my procedure.... takes the anxiety out of it. I know I'll be in good hands with Dr. Alvarez.

I definitely think you should go ahead with your surgery. It's time that you start not only taking care of yourself but most importantly thinking of yourself. This is the most beneficial gift you will ever give yourself and in a way a gift to your family. As for support, you couldn't ask for a better support system than the one you would get on this forum .... good luck in whatever you choose. You're in my prayers

Things are rolling right along.... got my admission papers yesterday from Dr. Alvarez woot woot! ! I'm the second surgery of the day... I'm so excited, can't wait! October 5th can't get here soon enough

Hello Melinda and welcome! I totally understand going back and forth with which procedure to get. I was the same way... I chose to go with the sleeve because it doesn't have the malapsorptions that the RNY has. As for doctors I chose to go with Dr. Alvarez ... Good luck on your journey

From what I understand your pcp takes care of you stateside. I'm new at this too made my decision to go with Dr. Alvarez.
