  1. Hello October sleevers , it is with great sadness that I have to take my name off the list.... due to health issues my general doctor doesn't advise me to go forward , it seems that I have to many underlying health issues and it would make it unsafe to go under anesthesia. Please know that I will keep all of you in my heart , my thoughts and mostly in my prayers. I wish you all nothing but success on your journey. ((( hugs)))
  2. @skinnyminnie2be try increasing your water consumption also if you're working out with weights this will cause you to gain muscle weight.... I would stick to walking for exercise until after surgery
  3. @jazzyj sending lots of positive energy your way, you're in my prayers
  4. Premier protein shakes are real tasty.... also like unjury chocolate splendor..... the unjury chicken soup is good also... for a fruity tasting drink I've been using nectar
  5. my pre op diet starts he 28th.... i'm on a one week liquid diet, can have 3 shakes, broth, s/f jello, 98% fat free cream soup and s/f popsicles
  6. I have a latex allergy.... No fun at all when it gets ignored
  7. I have just a little over 2 weeks left myself..... feeling nervous and anxious! Almost got everything on my list.... it's weird but the thing I dread the most is the i.v, I have tiny, deep, rolling veins it takes forever to get a line going and I feel like a pin cushion by the time they finally get it going.
  8. Congratulations on getting your surgery date! Welcome to the October sleevers
  9. 20 for me.... so stoked to get this over with and finally start living my life!
  10. Congratulations ! Of course you keep your honorary status as an October sleever.... you're family ((( hugs)))
  11. Sending lots of positive energy your way... you and your family are in my prayers. Have faith, God will take away your problems. You're never alone even when it feels like it... God is always with you!

  13. Hello October sleevers! How's everyone doing today? I'm feeling anxious and nerves are kicking in.... giving the pre op diet a trial run today. I'm not suppose to start mine till the 28th, but figured I would see how I do... so far so good... the real test will be after 4 p.m, cause that's when I usually start to get hungry!
  14. Congratulations SleevenChica.... welcome to the October sleevers, we're glad you're here!

  16. That is wonderful news... so happy for you !!
  17. I've been picking up a few things.... ordered unjury chicken soup, unflavoured protein, and the chocolate splender... they all taste pretty good. Also tried some nectar, got all my vitamins. I plan on ordering the PB2 online. Getting really excited! Only 24 days left woot woot
  18. Nectar is pretty good.... you still get the protein you need. I use it when I get tired of drinking chocolate shakes.... Caribbean cooler is my favorite. You can order sample packs online at mybariatricpantry.com
  19. Congratulations on getting your date.... I'm sure you'll do just fine on loosing those 13 lbs, you have your new family to motivate you right along! (( hugs))
  20. What a great late bday present for yourself!
  21. Well said Debby.... I couldn't agree more ! People like that shouldn't be working in a health environment if they are prejudicial to "fluffy" people! Other than body builders , people like us is how they make most of their profit.... makes me see red
  22. Hello Megan and welcome to the October sleevers family! Good luck on your journey and God Bless
  23. Sweet Tee , i'm so sorry to hear this , I hope things work out for you. I know how frustrating it can be when you want to get something done for yourself and it seems like everything in the world is prohibiting you from getting it... take a few deep breaths , we're here for you !
  24. To all being sleeved today , good luck to you and speedy recovery
