  1. I was sleeved on7/25. Still in hospital. Fluid does not go down. All I do all day is spit and vomit saliva. They just put in a pick line yesterday. I am sitting here with heartburn. I can not see the light at the end of this tunnel. I have no idea what is wrong with my esophogus. My dr said it just a waiting game. I feel I am in purgatory. Yesterday was my boo hoo day. I don't know how much longer I can take. This is so much more than buyers remorse.
  2. Thank you my new friends. Amen.
  3. Thanks! Will talk to my nurse. I appreciate any prayers u can send my way. Trusting on the Lord is hard but when u get down to it...it's all I have. Thanks to vsg talk. You are all so very helpful.
  4. I never expected to be in the hospital this long. But you are right, I'm in the best place I can be. Thank God for the Olympics. Makes the time go by quicker. Thx again.
  5. I had surgery on 7/25. The next day I had my upper GI test and failed as the fluid would not go down my esophagus. I am still in the hospital. I've been on steroids for several days to reduce the swelling in my esophagus. I spit up a lot of saliva and foam. The doctor won't allow me to start on fluids until I can stop spitting up. Has anyone had this problem? I'm desparate for some answers. Thx.
