My favorite was the seasoning packets from Papa John's. DH loves pizza and always ordered it, so one day I was bored on liquids and poured a packet into my chicken broth. Makes it spicy and full of flavor, was great. It's little granules of flavor, so no chunks of anything. They don't give them to you just-so, you have to ask for them.. but they were free. So if someone in family orders pizza from there, have them get you some packets. Nom nom!

I drink skim & 2%. I had to keep both in the house to begin with, but DH won't drink skim.. they are the same taste to me.. so now I drink 2% at home (so I only have to buy one), or skim when I get it out of the vending machine at work.

I shop probably bi-weekly unless I forgot something or wanted to make something particular that I didn't have. Typically my list is the same things everytime.. milk, eggs, meats (beef, pork, chicken), frozen veggie sides, 100 calorie snacks, and onions. I go through onions like crazy, I seem to find a reason to put them into every dish! I also go to allrecipes.com and look up new recipes for beef dishes or chicken dishes before shopping and if something new and exciting catches my eye, I'll add ingredients to my list that I don't normally get. My list hasn't changed much from pre-band.. I was gung ho about fresh fruit & veggies right after banding, but they go bad way before I can finish them, so I stopped doing that. Frozen veggie sides & canned fruit is how I get them now.. except my onions!

Sorry you feel like that, this is where people leave me in disbelief. I don't get this crap from people. If I pass on a dessert or the snacks (jeez the snacks) people bring in every day in the break room.. no one hounds me or thinks because I'm fat I have to eat. I've had people say "Oh but I made this from scratch, it's sooo good you have to try it", I just say "I am soooo full", they don't know what or if I ate anything. Let it roll off, part of the non-fat girl mentality is not letting them make you feel bad. People can only hurt your feelings if you let them! As for the comic, I would have had a big laugh and then trashed it.

Sounds like a winner to me Tracy!!! Wynn is gorgeous, I am glad we picked there to get married. They did offer us a discount to stay the night there since we paid for a wedding package, but it was still ridiculous like $600 for one night!!!!! Rio and Paris offered us free rooms, so we passed on Wynn, but I would have loved to stay there. Terry that bracelet is gorgeous!! I am going to commission you for something in the next year if that's ok? :wink_smile:)

Hey V's! Sorry I'm a bit out of it after yesterday, very surreal to be where something like that happens :bored: It's been all over the news, I saw CNN did cover it. Major lawsuits, the tent we had there was a pole in the middle, which I was actually 'in charge of'. Before storms (because the day was bright and clear, this little storm appeared out of nowhere) the pole I was next to was not attached to the ground or the ceiling, it was just balanced. So people kept leaning on it, and knocking it over, moving our tent, so I was making people stay away from it. When I got up to go to the van with my mom, I even said "I reqlinquish my duty as pole holder!!". That apparently was the first thing to go in our tent, which made everyone rush to the edges to hold the rest of the poles. Ends up the people who put up the tents, did not secure them to the ground, did not put the posts into the poles that secure them to each other, etc. The one boy who died, a generator fell on him.. that was just sitting in the back of a truck. So the Airport is going to be in major hell pretty soon. Anyway, so I'm very melonchaly lately. I did have some BIZARRE dreams last night. Had a dream I was being cheap, so I bought pregnancy tests from the dollar store.. like 20 of em. But their accuracy was only 60% (I dunno where I came up with this). So I peed on all 20 sticks, and 3/5 said I was pregnant, 2/5 said I wasn't.. so I never could figure it out! Work is same ol' work, I have one customer I am about to fire. Never really wanted to do it, but this guy, he's not worth it. He literally wastes hours of our time, then after we bust our butt we never get an order, meanwhile he barks out more commands. I kept thinking, if he called today I was going to cuss him out and ask him why he insists on being such a prick.. so I avoided the phone!! But next time he contacts us for something, I am going to tell him we don't want him to be a customer.. in a nice way of course.. :wink_smile:

The 1 confirmed dead is a 5-year old boy. I can't even imagine, makes me feel so mortal. The tents that were destroyed were about 30ft from ours..We had about 8 kids in our tent.. could you even think of taking your kid to something like that to have them killed??

DH was one of the people holding our tent down, he said it was blowing him away and there were a lot of people holding the poles. He was soaking wet! They haven't even released details of it yet, but next to our tent was the local news channel's tent, they were covering it.. at 5 they are playing the details. Mom said when they were leaving (they were running us out first because of where we parked) she saw 3 bodies covered in tarps..

The broken tents, had a lot of poles in it, I guess they hit them.. or could have been lightening, not sure yet. I think it was the poles though, those were the big tents with a/c in them, they couldn't hold down their tent. All our people were having to hold the posts down.The tent next door was our local news channel, so they're running the details at 5.

I would have felt like they're saying, they could do better, you dont belong together, but he's too lazy to find a new relationship. Definitely a damaging thing to say :tt2:

Airshow starts in 30m, going to watch it from home today.. tomorrow we're going to entertain customers.. weeeeee. Band is too tight, friggin stupid band argh.. just kidding, i love it.. but darn dont have time to go down there to unfill some. Been living on liquids and chewing & spitting.. great huh?

We live next to the airport, which is why theyre in our backyard.. We also live near train tracks, I have anxiety that planes or trains are going to crash into our house at any moment!! Its the Blue Angels & Golden Knights performing, but I thought it was cool to watch :tt2:) Today's show starts soon, I helped set up our company's booth but watching it from home today. Going to the actual show tomorrow.

Woohoo found it.. called a Gentle Leader Premier Gentle Leader Dog Training Collar - New Puppy Center - PetSmart With this & leash on, have people come to the door, and have your foot on the leash on the floor, with enough lead that the dog can sit comfortably. When someone comes in, if it tries to jump up, it's head will pull into its chest.. do the ignoring till they calm down.. when it sits calmly have people pet it-- keep your foot on the leash on the floor the whole time to reinforce if they get excited again, etc. Hopefully I explained this well, if you have any questions let me know!! You would think I get commission on these, hah but I swear by them. My dog, if you met her, is so hyper and crazy..acts like a puppy all the time. She won't jump though, she does her sitting and it kills her, her butt is wiggling all over the ground and she's shaking waiting for someone to pet her for being a 'good girl' then she wiggles around excitedly.. but won't jump!

Hey Susan, I'm going to be your best friend and help you fix this :tt2: I have a boxer, and it seems this breed loves to jump and use their front paws to push.. so our dog was horrble with this as a puppy, I took her to puppy class to no avail. So I forked out $75 a week to have a personal trainer come to my house. What she did, she could have told me over the phone, but lesson learned. There's this collar, I'm going to google or take a pic of mine to show you..forgot the name of it.. but it loops over their nose and attaches to their neck. If they try to jump (also helps with leash behavior) or pull from the leash, it causes their head to pull down into their chest--which they do not like. In less than 2 weeks with keeping this & leash on the dog at all times.. she stopped jumping! Less drastic (even though I don't consider it drastic, but you do have to buy the special collar) is put your knee out anytime they try to jump up, so it knees their chest and they fall back.. and ignore them when they jump.. if they sit and aren't jumping on people to greet them, it's important you or whoever comes over praises & pets the dog for sitting.. if they try to jump, knee & ignore till they sit.. repeat. Ok, going to go see if I can remember the name of this collar, if I don't find it I'll take a pic of ours.

I don't know what it's called and if it's something you can just suddenly develop, but a friend of mine always smelled horrible. I always thought she just had bad hygiene, but she showered at my house once and even used my body splash.. and she still smelled really funky.. so it ends up it was something about her, I googled it years ago, forget what it was now.. just some disorder. Saw a talk show with a woman who always smelled like tuna no matter what too..

Uhm, wow. "You going to F*ck him too?" would cause a fight in my house. I have never been insecure in my relationship and vise versa for my husband, so my thinking might be one sided, and of course not everyone fits into my bubble.. but if you can't trust someone, you can't be in a relationship together. Relationships are hard enough without having trust issues! If your reassurance falls on deaf ears, I would suggest counseling so that maybe he'll get more perspective and realizes you didn't settle, you were with him because you wanted to be.

Go & Have Fun, live with the excitement of knowing next year you'll be skinnier, but this year your life is worth living no matter the weight!!

There's an Airshow this weekend here for Blue Angels & Golden Knights. I had to come home early from work, and they're practicing in our backyard. We watched some really cool crap before I thought to grab the camera. So here's just a couple. And it's sooo loud, sounds like planes are about to crash into our house.. Just stopping in a moment to share videos!! The Blue Angels airshow is this weekend, and they've been doing the practice runs today in our backyard. DH and I came home early today so I could finish midterm crap and he needs to fix his computer. Anyway, the most impressive was 6 airplanes side by side doin a complete loop, and its SO LOUD it sounds like planes are crashing into the house.. so I finally grabbed the camera, these are just a sampling..4 or 5 planes doing a loop in sync and then them just jetting over the house...
