  1. Thank you for your article, it was right on. After 40 yrs of yoyo dieting this is what I'm coming to grips with. This is my time. Time to do what is right for me. Take care of my health. As I've told everyone"I'm getting my life back". Thanks again !
  2. The first place people notice when I lose weight is my face. I can lose 100 lbs and they say"Oh you've lost weight. I can see it in your face." Have you e er seen 100lbs on a face?!?
  3. Congratulations! Not banded yet so no instructions from me. Expect some instructions from you in late Sept.
  4. My insurance required 6mths of diet followup with PCP& 6 hrs nutritional class. Psyc eval. Everything done but last Drs visit Aug 30. The six months did go by quickly.

  7. What everyone else has said. Just wanted to say, how dare her say anything "looks like you're starting a diet". I would have been a smart @#$ and said no, why do you think that? Also my son-in-laws are store managers, if they heard that conversation she would have been called out. My sister had GB and she lost a lot of weight quickly and she's now gained most of it back. Best wishes on whatever you decide! How dare her!!!!!

  14. I'm 56yrs old. I need both knees replaced. I can't do anything. I know what you're saying. This is the year I've decided is about me. I've raised my kids, worked hard for everyone I care about, but now it's about what I need. I've become obsessed with butterflies just recently. Just built a butterfly garden even the It just dawned on me today, it's because I have been the cattapiller(sp?), just going along in life. Now it's time for me to become a beautiful butterfly. It's a my time!!!

  16. It's not about how you look, it's about your health. Maybe he's a little insecure about you looking better and dumping him??? I've read been married 40 yrs a dear husband loves me no matter what, but he wants what makes me happy.
  17. Planning on getting infant eating utensils after banding.
  18. The books I've read says to take bites no bigger than a pencil eraser. It should take 20-30 mins to eat a meal.
