Carolina girl is right on. Eating to fast will get you everytime. If you have a difficult time with slowing down try putting you fork/spoon down between bites. I know they say do be distracted while you eat, but I fix my plate with my one cup and sit down with the hubs at night. I will take a bite, put down my fork and listen to him tell me about his day while I chew and chew and chew. Then another bite. I takes me about the same amount of time it takes him to eat, but he eats twice as much if not more than I do.

The books I've read says to take bites no bigger than a pencil eraser. It should take 20-30 mins to eat a meal.

Planning on getting infant eating utensils after banding.

and i'm really really gonna try to give myself at least 30 mins to eat. I think if there's no rush to eat then there wont be as many issues
