  2. Amen sista!! How is Carnie Wilson doing? I haven't heard anything since her banding?
  3. I'm 7 days post op and what I would give to be able to drink water the way I want to. I'm so full on my water, I find it hard to have my 3 meals and being there only 1/4 to 1/2cup meals. I work more on my protein shakes (4oz) one in am & pm. Yesterday I was able to eat 1/4 c watered down grits and it was good. Just thinking of mash potatoes makes me full.lol Best to you all and yes, follow your given diets!
  4. Yes, I believe so. My sis had bypass surgery 10 yrs ago and lost a lot of weight, but about 5 yrs later gained quite a bet back. She asked me to ask my surgeon to give her a band now and he said he wouldn't do it b/c if bypass didn't work, neither would the band. It was a head thing that needed repairing. My Dr is a hard ass! He's the type of guy, if you don't follow his rules, you're going to hear about it. I really like him though!
  5. Some ppl wear lap pad binders to help
  6. LMAO My mind was going way in the wrong direction and a little slow. Boogers, chinese wrinkly ones. I'm thinking where in the world are you ppl from. Dawns on me you're talking dogs right? LOL
  7. I think I feel a song coming.... Yep, yep definitely .... I got my apple bottom jeans, boots with the fur. Something something looking at her. Give my big booty a smack Going low low low You started it!
  8. The incision there probably messed with some nerves. Should clear up in time. I know this b/c I stayed at a Holiday Inn Express last night. LOL No really, thats what I was told.
  9. Sounds like maybe you ate to fast or a little to big a bite and aggrevated your tummy, or maybe something you ate isn't tolerated any more. I'd go back to full fluids for a day. If you can't drink at all, call your Dr pronto. That's one of the reasons for journaling, maybe you see a pattern with a certain food. My Dr doesn't allow applesauce or mash potatoes for 30 days. But all Drs are different. Call your Dr if this persist. Good luck!
  10. Sweetie, Don't take anything on here seriously. At night some of us (not me) get a little crazy. We never mean to hurt anyone's feelings. We just crazy!
  11. Ok ladies, I will be married 40 yrs next month and like Jean McMillan writing Bandwagon, I could write a book "The Ways I Stop From Killing My Husband". Laundry next to basket too, trash next to trash can(biggest rrrrr), I'm hungry, I'm hungry after a huge breakfast, ice cream, cookies, peanuts, chips. I kid you not!!! He being of normal weight Grrrrrrr! I'm sure he doesn't like me saying " you don't know what hunger is", as I drink my protein shake. But for 40yrs he has loved me, most the time over 200lbs and has never mentioned not one word about losing weight.
  12. I had to take bandages off day after surgery, having allergic reaction. Now the steri strips stay on until they fall off.
  13. In my house is seems like its call "leave me alone", "stop that", "put that thing away",LOL It's all good! btw, call my grandson "sugar booger", better stop that.lol
