My fav breakfast on most weekends is 1/2 cup egg whites, 1/2 morning star sausage pattie, 1/2 slice wheat toast and a cup of coffee.. MMMM...on weekdays, I just have an Atkins chocolate protein shake.

I usually have sugar free jello, weight watchers cheese, or just a couple of Keebler fat free crackers. It does the trick. Try it! Good luck!

Looking For Sleevers Who Did The Sleeve Bootcamp Or Pouch Test
I do the 5 day pouch test about every 6 wks or so. It does work with breaking a stall and helps keep me on track. I feel that it gives my system a break and I feel better. I also drink a lot of water. Good luck!

Question For Ex-Banders Who Are Already Post Sleeve. Need Your Pov! Since You've Experienced Both What Are Your Thoughts And Experiences?
Having the revision from band to sleeve was a great decision for me. I was tired of having fills then unfills, throwing up, discomfort at the port area, etc, etc...I lost 80 lbs the first year and a half which of course I gained back. Oh well...I now have the right tool to help me with my weight loss. I love my sleeve! Good luck on your journey!

Scared of failure...
I disagree. My husband and I still go out to dinner. Of course, it's not as often and we watch the calorie intake. Of course, protein first! Though I have had the VSG, he is losing weight by following my program. We excercise together, and encourage one another on our journey. Good luck!

Success with portion control only? anyone?
I use measuring cups and watch my portion size. I do it so I don't waste any food that I know I can't finish. It also helps me to watch my calorie intake. Of course, protein first! Good luck!

Surgery 01/02 and getting nervous
It's normal to worry. You will be making a life style change. Just follow the directions from your doc and you should be fine. The first week or two after my surgery, I took things easy such as not lifting anything, and getting in my FLUIDS. You will do fine. Good luck on your journey!

Why did you choose the sleeve after the band
I decided on the sleeve for my revision from the band instead of RNY because it is what advised by mr dr. It's one of the best decisions I have ever made. I would continue to research both surgeries and decide on the one that is right for you. Good luck on your decision and weight loss.
