  1. Oh how fantastic!! You deserve it!! Can't wait to join you in Onederland.
  2. Shabby are you not eating any protein? Cottage cheese, soft fish, tuna
  3. I agree with previous poster. I too am on the pill and got my period earlier than I should and for a longer time.
  4. What will you do? Drink like a normal person................................
  5. Well IMO you just had surgery 3 months ago to lose weight. The investment you have now put in should be in the forefront to be a success with this VSG. You should wait from what I hear at least a year. The first 6 months of VSG is the best time to lose as much weight as you can. If you get pregnant now you will hinder your weight loss and then possibly never get to your goal. Is this not what you wanted in the first place?
  6. So very sorry to hear about your sister, on her way now to recovery and a successful weight loss. You are right, you never know what can happen, all surgery is a risk.
  7. Don't waste your money. It will end up being a very expensive clothes dryer. Start a walking program daily and stick with it. When it is hot you just have to remember to hydrate. You haven't had your surgery yet so when you start to lose you may enjoy walking more.
  8. I found actually when I stalled I was eating too much. I eat about 600-700 calories a day. I don't eat carbs I have protein and a little veggie, sometimes yogurt. I think the other poster was saying to have a low cal day and then a higher cal day and see if it jumpstarts your weight loss. Make sure that you are still drinking your water. Congrats on your weightloss by the way, you have done terrific!
  9. I am going to be 13 weeks on Monday. I can only eat 2 ounces of solid protein per meal. I average 600-700 calories a day. I really wish to make the most of my first 6 months.
  10. It could very well be the beef. Beef is very hard on our systems and very hard to digest. If the veggies were cooked soft you should not of had a problem. I have yet to have beef(besides ground) and am not sure if I ever will. Just not worth the risk.
  11. Water is definitely your friend, make sure you are drinking alot. What are you eating? I am sticking to carbs only, little veggies and sometimes yogurt. This is working for me. Try to keep your carbs low. I plan on increasing my carbs during maintenance. I eat about 600-700 calories a day. You are doing fantastic!! Keep it up, you can do this!!
  12. Wow that looks like you have a raging infection. I would go to the doctors right away.
  13. Wow, I wouldn't have stayed to eat with him either. I would have gone shopping with my daughter and bought myself a lovely size smaller top, on his credit card!
  14. How horrible, I am so sorry for you. I know that this doesn't help but even if you have to re-schedule you are still going to get the surgery done!! Hang in there, this too shall pass.
  15. There will be other patients there, trust me. When you get to the hotel scout them out; you'll know who they are! Best of luck to you.
  16. Wow hard to believe all that is under 900 calories. That's a lot of food. I think I can eat that in two days.
  17. Wow congratulations how fantastic! You so deserve it! I can't wait to join you!!
  18. You didn't leave a question. What would you like to know.
  19. Firstly you have done great for 5 1/2 weeks out!! It's not ONLY. Secondly for me I try to keep my calories around 600-700 and eat mostly protein with a little veggie. I do have yogurt occassionally. I also have a protein shake for breakfast so that I can get in enough protein.
  20. Well it was totally the popcorn, all that sodium and your body is not used to it. Congratulations on your weight loss by the way. Good Job!!
  21. Hey Doxie, Where do you buy the Nestle hot cocoa?
  22. How about cottage cheese, soft fish(tuna), egg(finely ground up), canned meats(chicken, corned beef). You need to get some protein in too.
  23. Height also comes to play. Now I am not your height, 5'10" and wear a size 12/14 and I weigh 201.2 pounds. So it does depend on height and how your weight is carried.
