  2. I agree, Premier are my favorite too. Costco sells them in an 18 pack for 24 dollars. I have not tried the bars yet, but may pick some up today!
  3. Good luck to you...you'll be there in no time!
  4. Premier Chocolate Shakes are pretty tasty, especially when well chilled. I pick mine up at Costco, which seems to have the best price.
  5. I know someone who drank a coke before her fasting lab work so it would look like she was a diabetic. That's what ultimately led to her doctor approving her surgery. She was 5'4" and over 300 lbs and furious that she had to do that to get approval, but it worked for her. Sorry you are having to deal with insurance. Perhaps your doctor could provide another letter explaining the rationale for the need for surgery. Good luck to you.
  6. Very exciting! All the best to you!
  7. I've heard that they chemically enhance their yogurt so that it tastes like Greek yogurt instead of actually going through the old world process of making Greek yogurt. You may want to stick to FAGE or Chobani.
  8. That's one of the best feelings! Next, you will notice yourself in a mirror at a store or at the gym and be floored by your new proportions! That's an amazing feeling too! Congratulations!
  9. July 12th here: I'm down about 40 pounds and I'm not getting to the gym as much as I'd like (once or twice per week), but I do walk quite a bit at work. I've been eating 600-800 calories a day. I'm very happy with the weight loss, but I also thought I'd be down a lot more after the first two months. Not complaining, but I was expecting a HUGE drop in the neighborhood of 60 pounds after the first two months and then thought I'd taper down after that. Overall, I'm very pleased with my sleeve and am learning to be patient and enjoy the pace.
  10. This is only my opinion, but it's important for us sleevers to take a step back and prioritize when it comes to eating and making accommodations for others that would somehow jeopardize our sleeves and success this early in the game. You are not even two weeks out from surgery! Take care of you and your sleeve...if Mr. Wonderful is so wonderful, he will be patient and understand that this should not even be a discussion at this time. I have friends and family who think that everything can be the same as pre-op, and I have to remind them that I practically had my stomach removed and traditions and patterns are forever changed.
  11. I have a ton of them too...they are gritty, chalky, way too big, and intolerable! Sorry, this may not help you sell your vitamins, but my advice to anyone looking at their website: BUYER BEWARE!
  12. I thought I was in the clear, but I have noticed that chicken and sugar can cause quite a bit of pain and I usually begin slimming (not fun), so I stay away from both. Unfortunately, I've discovered that breads and crackers are not a problem at all...eeep! Tomato products don't seem to bug either.
