  10. Those dang endorphins never kick in for me and yet I know exercise is key. On the weeks where my weight loss has slowed its because I have not gotten off my butt and walked!! All these things together are tools and you have to use them to be successful... What helps me is putting on some tunes and just hitting the track... Don't think about it just DO IT!!!
  11. What great news for you.... It really is such an exciting time as well as a huge milestone for you!!! Congrats
  12. It's a socialization thing... At least for me it was. Every family get together has always been centered around a meal or some sort of food... After surgery I really struggled with that... I almost felt sorry for myself when I was so limited on what I could have when everyone else was pigging out... Try thinking or looking at the big picture... I have lost 93 lbs in 5 and 1/2 months... I certainly don't feel sorry for myself now... Just keep always looking towards the future...best of luck... And you can do this!!!!
  13. What an awesome accomplishment...you must be so proud!!!!
  14. Gosh so sorry... Isn't there something about meat tenderizer that can help dissolve stuff... Hopefully someone else will be more helpful then me... Worse feeling in the world getting something stuck
  15. Hi guys... I too have over 100 lbs to loose. Pats on the back to al of us who have lost.... I am 5'7" and had my surgery 02/21/12. My starting weight was 340 and I am now at 247.... So 93 lbs gone. Discouraging sometimes because the weight I am now is the weight some people are starting at.... But I'm fighting the good fight as you all are. I'm thankful everyday that I am on this journey...this is a great thread to start!!!
  16. On the downhill ... Congrats to you!!!

  22. Okay this is going to sound weird but I was having the same cramping and it definatley was not time for my period. So you know how your stomach never growls indicating you are hungry... My cramping is whenI forget to eat.. Once I take my couple of bites of protein the pain subsides. Hope it helps someone.
  23. I didn't tell anyone before either except family members.... Now I tell anyone who listens... I'm proud of my success!!! I used to be one of those judgemental people that thought weight loss surgery was for lazy people... It is a tool and way harder then I thought it would be.... Tell them To suck it and be proud of your decision and how good you are going to look and feel
