  2. I think it's normal to have feelings like this. I will say it does get better... No consolation at this point I know... But hang in there girls!
  3. It's normal. My periods are heavier since surgery 6 months ago.

  6. Well congrats!!! I too can't get beyond just walking... Those damn endorphins never really do kick in for me. :-). But my daughter has decided to enlist in the airforce and is on an exercise kick and so as a show of support I'm going to start some weight training... Ugh how I dread it!!
  7. I have the same issues... And I 6 months out. Rotisserie chicken from the Walmart deli is my friend. I peel back the skin and the chicken is so moist. I can still eat very little but at least it's protein and I can get it down. Good luck
  8. Jen... I have 4 apps I use faithfully. My weight tracker... Not only for pounds but watching my bmi go down, my fitness pal to track everything that goes in my mouth and my exercise. And endomundo that tracks what I walk everyday and how long it takes me... And of course rny talk... Each one of them.. Everytime I lose weight.. I change my weight in. All helpful tiols

  10. I have kept up with your posts and know that this would be a very loving gesture between you and your mom. Might help bridge the gap. I say go for it!!!
  11. I had surgery in feb ..and the pain for me lasted about a week and a half. I slept in a recliner for about that long. I does get better... Patience is the key in this whole process
  12. I have to lose pretty close to 200... I started at 340 and want to be 165. I had surgery feb 2012 and am down 113 lbs... I have a weight tracker app on my phone it's been nice to watch it go down from 175 to lose to now 65. It's been a great ride watching my body change but more importantly my attitude. I'm happy and there is no other feeling like it. I keep thinking now... What's it gonna feel like to be that girl who is struggling to lose that last 5 lbs...can't wait to gripe about that... Lol!!! It can be done ladies... Let's do it!!!!
