  1. My new mantra... The scale is my friend, the scale is my friend, the scale is my friend!!! Thanks ALex!!
  2. From everything I've experienced.. Your stomach will love things one minute and then the next... Not so much. I'm 9 months out and have always had a problem with tuna unless its really wet. Basically things eaten are by trial and error. Hope you feel better soon
  3. Oh jenn... So happy for you honey... Keep up the great work!!!!
  4. Did my usual.. Walked a mile before work.. Just got done walking 2 miles with my daughter.. Now heading to the activity center.. Gonna try and push for 30 min on the bike!! Have a good evening guys and great job on moving today!!!

Shonabear... What's the recovery time on essure?
  6. Patti... Welcome to the boards... I had my surgery feb 21st... Hard to believe I'm this close ... My dr actually wants me to be at 170 and I'm secretly hoping for 150 but realistically shooting for 165. It has been a wild ride. How are you feeling? It took around 3 weeks before I felt some semblance of normalcy... Again welcome to the boards and good luck to your friend as well
  7. Everyone loses at a different rate... Her dr will be the only one to tell her whether or not she is losing too fast. I do know that typically you lose a lot the first month and then it slows down... But concerns she has should always be addressed with her dr.
  8. What a transformation... Good job!!
  9. Ok so I'm a postal worker and have the day off so started exercise early... Rode stationary bike for 25 min and then swam 15 laps.. Hubby and I are off to walk 2 miles... It's a beautiful day in Oklahoma!!!!
  10. I thought I would lose 40 lbs a month... Patience is key.. Still have phenomenal weight loss just not as quick as you think it will be. Also.. There are days where I just feel crappy. Wasn't expecting that.
  11. You look stunning. So proud of you
  12. One of the easiest procedures... You will be fine
  13. Yay!!!!! You look great
  14. It's an app that tracks the food you eat and the exercise you get.. It's been a life saver
  15. Oh yeah... Fat releasing all kinds of hormones... Mine leveled out at about 3 months
  16. Congrats...... Wonderful feeling isn't it??
  17. I gave up pop the day of surgery... I know .. Shame on me... But the pain meds and just being totally out of it after surgery helped me with that... I never did get a headache
  18. Great thread.. Walked 2 miles this morning. Will walk another 2 tonight.
  19. So I hated the cheese... To salty... Wish I would have looked at the sodium like you moofish... The chocolate splendor is wonderful... Doesn't have the overly sweet taste. I did like the strawberry sorbet just wouldn't by a whole container. Will post more as I try the rest... Oh first attempt at the chicken soup my water was too hot so the consistency wasn't great. I'm gonna have to try it again.. With my thermometer before I can give an accurate report.
  20. Wow sweet I wish I could say the same for me... It was 3 weeks before I finally felt normal. You will be weak for sure... Try not to over do it is all I can say
  21. Msix... Where do you live... I livd in mannford. I've heard katsis is really good
  22. Hey my birthday is dec 20th... What a great birthday present for you... Saw your other post on the sleeve... I too was gonna have the sleeve... But honestly I'm a grazer so wasn't a good option for me. I had my surgery feb 21st and am 3 lbs away from losing 150 lbs... Crazy huh??? Best decision I ever made
