  1. I'm not 20, and not a full time student at a large university, but I am 32, wife mother to a 14 and 12 yo, work 40+ hours a week, and about to start taking a college class again all day on Saturdays. So I do have a busy schedule. I'm 7 weeks post-op and just now started to get energy back. If you have come this far you are a strong person. You can do this! You might need some new people to hang out with. I know I was very much a social eater, so I have to do other activities, if I did hang out with friends and we went to bars/redtaurants might want to suggest other activities. Don't get didcouraged....you are stong! You have come this far....the rest ( I'm assuming) is downhill!

  2. Hey Quita-- I had surgery on 7/19 and my mom was very against it. She also works in the medical field and has herd bad stories about people having complications from surgery and I not going to lie, I was scared too. But after weighing the pros and cons I knew I had to have surgery. Good luck, just pray and be at peace with YOUR decision

  3. 1 week after post-op' date=' I feel extremely thirsty. Kinda feels like I just had a long marathon and all I want to do is to drink lots of cold fresh Water. Anyone suffer the same????[/quote']

Yes I did started about 1 week out. The only thing I wanted was ice Water. And I hate ice. It was the only thing that tasted good. I'm 6 weeks out and don't crave ice water like I did, but still think it is the best tasting drink.
