  2. You are in charge of what you eat not your band. Just remember that. Good luck!
  3. I honestly don't know why anyone wouldn't at least try the band first. Really consider the alteration of your body. This is just my opinion. Good luck!

  6. There are so many dr.s appt and classes I had to attend through my program. But I am almost there. Started Mid July and will most likely be banded mid Sept or sometime mid oct! Everyday you question is a day that you could be losing. Even if it treats the symptom you will be healthier and not so heavy. To me healthy and thinner equals happy. The band is a tool meant to help you. I say use it! Good luck girl!

  11. They have a calorie counter on their website that will give you all the nutritional info. I know there meats are EXTREMELY salty. But if you stay away from tortillas sour cream and cheese you will be okay!
  12. I have already planned to go to the movies as much as possible. Pass the popcorn stand and try to focus on the movie. That is going to be a great distraction for me.
  13. Just had my insurance submitted today. BMI 38 with three comorbids. According to BCBS il I will be covered but I will take all the prayers/well wishes I can. Thanks Guys!
  14. I was at a meeting with a woman who lost 100 lbs with the bypass then gained it all back. she was looking into getting banded.

  19. I'm such a sweaty mess in the summer. I'm sure it's because of all this extra weight. Do any of you notice not being super hot all the time in the summer or at night? I will certainly be looking forward to next summer.
  20. What? It's up that high? Can you see the scar when you wear a tank top? I thought they go in your stomach on one side!
