  5. New mini, if I can do this you can. Ay 61 I finally decided enough. I am in really good health and want to stay that way as long as I can. The weight was starting to cause me knee and back problems. So I just did it. The hardest part is trying to get your mind to behave. We will not starve... I promise. I am on the post op side now and so very thankful. Can't wait to be into my other smaller clothes that I have hanging in the closet! Sent from my iPad using VST

  8. I took heating pad. Did not use. I used fluffy socks I used bath robe I took a full suitcase and am not going to use hardy any of it. I did use my long sleeve t shirt and elastic waisted sport shorts. With pockets to but drain bag in. Wore flip flops. Hospital provided personal care items, toothbrush toothpaste shampoo. No hair dryer. Hotel has good one. I took iPad and books. For flight I took the broth packets out of the Raman noodles. You can find hot Water but no broth and I need the warmth to soothe me on the last leg of the plane ride. I also brought with me coolaide straws for my water bottles. I had a small travel pillow that I have not used but may come in handy on the flights home. If you have smart phone maybe a English to Spanish app. Hospital and hotel have free wifi. Did not use the gas x. Did not have any problem with it. I did follow the diet pretty close, maybe that is why no gas. Can't think of any thing else. If you have any other question please ask. Good luck! Sent from my iPad using VST

  11. I used Dr Lopez. He and his wife work as a team. All of the people on his team are great. There is not much out about him but that is because he is fairly new I think. My husband was very impressed by them and Mi hospital. My cost was 4700.00. The hotel is very nice very comparable to any nice room in the states. The price included food for me. Ron as to buy his own. Doesn't cost much. Room in hospital was for both same in hotel. Airfare was 350. I booked about a month ahead. Let me know if I can help. Sent from my iPad using VST

  14. TJ is not hot the average temp is 70's. I am here now and it is wonderful. Sure beats the 100+ we are having at home! My sleeve cost me a total of 4700.00 and it is worth every penny! Sent from my iPad using VST
  15. Just had my surgery on Tuesday. Dr Lopez at the Mi hospital. Am not resting at the Marriott. I can not say enough good things about the whole experience. From the driver, Roberto, who is a hoot, to the very nice accommodations in the hotel and the wonderful care I received in the hospital from the nurses and Doctor Lopez. Everything is exceptionally clean. TJ is not a scary place. We enjoyed a evening of shopping before going to the hospital and my husband had a fantastic seafood dinner. Ice tea for me dang. I remember them coming to get me in the room and then I remember being back and thinking did it happen? I was up walking within an hour and have not had any problems with gas. I feel no pain which I consider a blessing know that others have. My husband is with me and as gone exploring everyday while I rested in the hospital. I do believe he has been enjoying the trip!
