It gets so much better. You are still dealing with the anesthesia. Once that is out of your system things will be back to normal

March Sleevers
@@stacy458 Yes, To me it felt like a spasm. It still happens once in a while but not as bad. I kept feeling like it was hunger. Very strange feeling. Then came the acid stomach. If you do start getting acid stomach call the nurse right away and get something for it cause it will wake you up at night.

Help! Advice needed!
Yes. Contact your insurance company and ask them the requirements though. Any insurance requirements I have read say that if you have a BMI of 35 and under you must have atleast 2 comorbities. You can even google that information for your insurance company.

Just had Surgery on 3-20-2015
I know the feeling. It was so freaking hard. I was so tired of clear liquids and the sugar substitute. I wasa getting this gross foamy sweet crap in my throat all the time. I got to a point I didnt want anything anymore. I was upset and angry about not being able to get full. This was just my experiance. I am sure it is different for many others but now being over 2 weeks out i am finally feeling better. I feel your pain and soon it will be over with. i promise. Just follow the program and focus on hydration.

More on Crazy Penny
I havent seen it but I stopped watching "reality tv" years ago. I cant stomach the scripted crap. The reality of "reality tv" is they needs ratings so they set it up so you keep watching. People love watching train wrecks and that is how the show makes their money. The best thing to do is turn it off and tune it out completely. I like positive uplifting stories about people that have overcome lifes struggles and I also cant stand the fact that people make money off of other peoples hardships for the sake of entertainment.

Help
I know how you feel. I had my surgery on the 10th. I have just been trying to keep my eye on the prize. I am not giving up and i will not allow myself to fail. You will be fine. Once we are eating regular food we will feel satiated. i get 90g of protein a day and sometimes i need more than liquid in my stomach. I feel the grinding of hunger and it sucks but I know that once we are allowed to really eat that will go away. You are in my thoughts. I feel your pain. Keep your head up.

Really Nervous
Speaking from my experience, I felt terrible right after surgery but that was because of the morphine. I then received toradel and I was fine from then on. I am 2 weeks out and don't even feel like I had surgery. I am also surprised at how much liquid I can have in my sleeve. I barely have restriction and when I'm full I lose the desire to continue eating unlike my old stomach. Good luck.

Getting sick of this liquid only phase

Oh by the way I was 3 lbs heavier yesterday and 4lbs lighter today, That goes to show you the scale is a big comedian.
-
2 weeks post op
Today is my 2 week anniversary too! I have also been losing steadily. I was at a stand still a couple days ago but that changed quickly. I took my measurements and i have lost 9 inches all over so far. Dont worry about the number on the scale as much as you can feel the difference in your body and clothes. I have noticed less pain in my back and I can sit indian style without my big belly being in the way.

Quest Protein Chips - Anyone else tried these?
I like them. They are good for a crunch. I have not had them again since my surgery. I have a while before I'm allowed to eat them but when i tried them they werent that bad.

Weird dreams?
I just had a dream a couple days ago and my hair was falling out in large clumps, so i decided in the dream to shave my head and buy a wig. It seemed so real. I woke up and pulled my hair to make sure it was not coming loose.

Totally frustrated and don't know what to do
What you are going through sounds so terribly painful and I am so sorry you are having to deal with this kind of situation. The only thing i can say is leave your uncaring insensitive husband get a job that offers insurance and get this done for you. He does not deserve you. Im sorry but he makes me very angry. i wouldnt ask him for anything but a divorce.
