Ok the doc called and I meet with the surgeon on Wednesday and at that appointment surgery will be scheduled!! Day before on Tuesday gall bladder ultra sound. On July 30 I meet with the dietician to receive info and instructions on the 10 day pre op diet!

Approved!! Waiting for the doc to call with the date!! I cannot wait this was so fast. I teach and am on a time line so I think it might all just work out!! Yay! Medica!

Hi. Not sure about the date. They don't assign dates until insurance is done. The group I am with has two amazing surgeons so I asked for first available. I'm hoping ASAP! I'll keep the group updated.

Yay! Submitted Tuesday approved today!! And a negative h pylori test!! Just waiting on the doc to call with a date!!

Just called the insurance company got approved!!! Yay!! Submitted Tuesday approved today Friday!!

My stool sample came back and it is negative!! No H pylori no delay just waiting for insurance!!! I did have a positive blood test.

And if so when? I was just submitted yesterday and I am still waiting for the results of my H Pylori second test...not quite sure why antibiotics aren't started right away...blood test was positive then a stool submit...gross!

Yes they are submitting, in fact I believe it got submitted this morning!

Hi. I found out last Friday July 6 from a blood test. The doc told me they needed a confirmation test which was a stool sample. I dropped that off today July 10. I have not been prescribed anything! Hopefully tomorrow they will have the results of the poop and she will call in a script tomorrow so I can start treatment while insurance is out for review! Whew!

My docs said don't worry. I had to do a retest stool sample just dropped off today. Yuck! If it's positive 7 days of antibiotics. She never mentioned anything about a 30 day retest. However, since you all are saying 30 days Tis probably the case was hoping for an August 1 sleeve!

My insurance has no requirements other than pre auth and one co morb if BMI 35-39.9 that's a check. Now it's the surgeon that had the requirements: Two days one week a part: A whole bunch of labs Bariatrician visit Psych visit Bariatric nurse visit Second day: Lab results with doc Physical therapist Nut That's it. I was told I'd be submitted this morning however I will wait until Friday to call. Shooting for an August surg date! Easy peasy. **labs found out I have H Pylori had to do a conformation stool sample test, ran that to the lab today. Once confirmed 10-14 days of antibiotics. Good luck!!
