  1. Track back to adding celexa to Wellbutrin.
  2. You need to get that checked out. Do you sweat at lower heart rate? If you are moving into heat exhaustion or stroke you will stop sweating. But no sweating ever is a good thing to talk to a physician about.
  3. Sometimes it's such our challenge to learn to take care of ourselves after not doing it for so long. Add a fever and making decisions is hard. I do think you ought to go to the ED.
  4. My understanding is that we develop allergies over the life span. We develop allergies to things we previously have not been allergic to as our body increases its his one response to an irritant. For example when I was a teen, the owner of the pizza company I worked for developed a severe Allergy to flour! I hope he gets a good referral to an allergist and some instruction about how to stay safe. A list of typical allergens would also be helpful. Get well soon!
  5. Everything for reason! Heal well!

  7. Is your question what exercise is great to build ab muscles? What exercise are you currently doing? life is a journey, not a destination; so, stop running -H.D. THEROUX
  8. It takes 3500 calories to gain/lose a pound. Do you think you overate that much? life is a journey, not a destination; so, stop running -H.D. THEROUX
  9. The number one predictor of long term (2+ years) success is regular exercise. There is a connection between this and lifestyle changes as well as reduction in depression associated with emotional eating. life is a journey, not a destination; so, stop running -H.D. THEROUX
  10. I had Water aversion twice during early recovery. I adjusted the water temp and that helped the first time along with sips. The second time that didn't work and I added Sobe Lifewater for about a month! I'm 5 months post op and drinking room temp plain water again. life is a journey, not a destination; so, stop running -H.D. THEROUX
  11. Sounds like you got too full. If you get pain in the breast bone you have had too much or not chewed. Since you are drinking CoW I'd say slow waaaayyy down and try an ounce over a half hour. Butter may be a bad idea. Some ppl really can't tolerate grease. Try again! Good luck. life is a journey, not a destination; so, stop running -H.D. THEROUX
  12. Several women in a different VSG group who are 5 months out are having leg cramps from lack of potassium per their docs. Because its traveling, I would read the criteria for blood clots/DVT just to be safe. The sensations are different. life is a journey, not a destination; so, stop running -H.D. THEROUX
  13. That sounds more like you would benefit from a PPI like Prilosec. Really slow sips over a looooong time. You're sleeve is swollen and easily irritated. Temperature may help too. Cold Fluid versus warm/hot, for example. The surgical gas happens independent of eating or drinking. Happy Healing! 14. Heating pads can help a good deal to passively move the gas. It won't linger much longer...and, yes, walking because it helps absorb the gas as well as move it around. (When you sit still, the gas concentrates in the space and bloats.) life is a journey, not a destination; so, stop running -H.D. THEROUX
  15. Can you make this hot without destroying the Protein? I'm looking for a hot protein drink! life is a journey, not a destination; so, stop running -H.D. THEROUX

  17. It really is enough to be recovering from sleeve and learning to eat! I also would be very concerned about the mesh getting infected. You wanna talk about time off and several painful procedures. No way! I know it's not ideal to have two procedures; it may be safer. You can read about best surgical practices: www.facs.org Wishing you good health! life is a journey, not a destination; so, stop running -H.D. THEROUX
  18. I had ventral hernia repair three months after VSG. My bariatric surgeon performed it. To make this repair at the same time is considered a "dirty procedure". If you develop a leak from VSG, for example, you can imagine how bad that'd be for a second surgery site with several incisions. Also, the hernia repair heals better after some weight loss, as fat is plugging the hole now and distorts the opening. Again, not hiatal hernia so that matters. It took nine tacks and several internal stitches attached to muscle to close my hernia. It was a small hernia. Finally, I would in no way would i want to be recovering from both surgeries at the same time. OMG! Hernia recovery is 2-4weeks. The surgeon isn't making more money either. The same procedure codes are billed. The hospital might make more, though do to two preop/postop stays. HTH. Good luck to you! life is a journey, not a destination; so, stop running -H.D. THEROUX
  19. I dance and lift weights at a club most days. I also do DVDs at home on super busy days or the Wii fit/fit plus. Usually low impact aerobics with weights. Treadmills bore me to tears! life is a journey, not a destination; so, stop running -H.D. THEROUX
