  4. There's definitely an adjustment period of learning how to adapt to your band. In taking pills and certain foods. All it takes is for you to experience a couple of good "stucks" and you learn from mistakes. I cut my food up very small and make sure all foods are cooked throughly. I do have water/drink ready just in case, even though you are not suppose to drink while eating. Best wishes

  11. I drink a slushy Chocolate protein shake every morning. I put in freezer for 45-60 minutes then I enjoy. Takes care of me all day and no craving sweets all day.

  14. Even though I had a hernia repaired at the same time as Lapband surgery, my family doctor asked me to take a acid reducer pill every other day, Keeps me in check. Probably some of the foods I still eat. Best wishes
  15. Good idea to see your doctor. Some surgeons attach the port to muscle tissues and this might be the urt you are feeling. Please discuss this with the doctor who did the surgery. They will probably scope this area if possible in the office. Best wishes
  16. Takes a few fills to finally kick in and maintain food intake without getting hungry. Be patient and keep up your good work of eating better and exercising.

  21. On my hernia, 3 small openings were made. Very little scars. Best wishes
  22. Use your heating pad on your back. It helps eliminate gas trapped in your body.
  23. No Biggie. Highly over rated in the pain department. I have had 4 fills and NO pain.
