I am going to my one year post surgery check-up and am a little nervous. I have been doing well I think but you never know what they will say. I have lost weight and that is all that counts to me!!!!!!!!!!!

why nervous?

are you the same as when you started? heck no

walk in there with your head high, shoulders back and show whomever in there that you my dear are a success and THIS is how its done.

I am 45 pounds lighter one year later. I am doing fabulous and they are very pleased. I go back only if i need a fill and will be seen one year from now. I think that getting the lap-band was one of the smartest things i have done in this lifetime. :wub:

I am going to post a picture of myself with the updated weight loss as soon as I can find my camera.

Congratulations on the weight loss. Ask yourself if you didn't do the surgery, Where would you be Now? Poorer health, quality of life worse, etc.
