  1. I heard about those and saw them last time I went to the grocery store. I didn't get any though, because the sodium content worried me. Frozen meals are usually loaded with it... It seems like the more sodium I eat, the less weight I lose.
  2. Like the title says, tomorrow I will be 7 weeks out. I had my surgery on December 10th. I am having trouble finding foods to eat that are higher Protein, but still have lower Carb and fat content. Can any of you recommend what your favorite things have been post-op? I've been doing Greek yogurt, chicken breast and egg whites a lot, so hopefully someone has some other suggestions for me. I appreciate any insight you can give me! Thanks in advance! Eta: if anyone would be willing to share their typical day's menu, that would be awesome! Thanks again.
  3. I've been sleeved for a month and a day...(Yay!)..and mine does the same thing.
  4. Born in Louisiana, raised in West Virginia and currently living in Maryland...lol.
  5. Down 20 lbs since surgery and 62 lbs down from the beginning of my journey in July. Super excited to see how this all pans out... I feel like I'm a slow loser, but according to this post, it seems like I'm right on track with everyone else.
  6. I'm definitely not an expert, but have you been drinking enough fluids?
  7. Hey! I was sleeved on December 10th, too... having a hard time getting all my fluids in, but I was never a big "drinker" before surgery anyway. I'm down 55 lbs since I started this journey in July, and13 of those are since my surgery date. I'm so glad to see you made this thread.. it's cool meeting everyone with the same date. Good luck to you all on your weight loss journeys!
  8. How did your surgery go, ShrinkyDink?
  9. I got home Wednesday night and I am just now updating you all. I'm sorry for not getting on here sooner..I just didn't want to get on when I felt bad and possibly ruin someone else's excitement because I was having a hard time. Anyway, my surgery went well and my dr is very proud of the success I've made this far. I have to say though, I am, too! I'm so proud of taking that leap of faith and going through with it and coming out on the other side a whole new person (or so it seems). Good luck to all who are considering this surgery and thank you to everyone who has been here for me and all the other sleevers before me for support. It means the world to me..
  10. Today is the big day for me, too! So nervous, yet calm...that doesn't even make sense, lol. Good luck!
  11. I'm at the hospital too! Mine isn't until 9:30 though.. good luck!
  12. You'll do good..we all will! Good luck tomorrow. You should come back and update us tomorrow or whenever you are feeling up to it...
  13. That's cool, we have the same day and around the same time, too...lol. I wish the best for you tomorrow! Good luck!
  14. Me too! Good luck! See ya on the "loser's bench"!
  15. Thank you for your words of wisdom and for being so positive post-op.. I needed that...
  16. My surgery is scheduled for tomorrow too... so many thoughts, emotions and nerves, oh, my... I don't have any advice, I just wanted to let you know that you aren't alone in your worries. I wish you the best of luck on your journey.
  17. Thanks for the advice... I'm going to try to remember to update this post tomorrow.
  18. I'm scheduled for surgery at 9:30am, but I have to be there by 7 for them to do a urinalysis. There are so many feelings and emotions running through me right now.. Everything from nervous and happy to excited and scared... Anyone else scheduled for tomorrow?
  19. I am also scheduled for December 10th. I was supposed to be on a liquid pre op diet for 2 weeks, but they rushed to fit me in before the end of the year and I am ending up with only having to do 9 days of it. I have to drink 5 shakes a day and drink at least 48 oz of clear liquids.
