  1. Totally normal... i had a few accidents the first couple weeks... and I agree NEVER trust a fart! I am almost 7 months out now and deal with weekly constipation issues. I have to stay away from cheese and anything else that can make me stop up... otherwise its no bueno for 3 or 4 days.
  2. I am 9 weeks out and still having a problem with eating too fast, but I am getting better and knowing how much i can handle. I have thrown up maybe 2-3 times from just eating too much, and taking a drink too soon after.
  3. Images added to a gallery album owned by GeekyGamer in Before and After Gastric Sleeve Photos
GeekyGamer, a weight loss surgery photo album by GeekyGamer on BariatricPal. 3 photos in Before and After Gastric Sleeve Photos.
  4. I had some great sugar free frozen yogurt sorbert, about 1 1/2 out. Just watch sugar. I also free greek yogurt (healthy choice sells it also). Yummy
  5. Yeah they fill the whole working area with air, I had gas pains for about 2 weeks. So loud too, I would be laying down and it was like it was talking to me!
  6. I didnt fart until night of day 4, then i had my first bm after 5-6 days i think.
  7. A lot of the time its the gas working its way out of you. Gas X strips helped mine to calm down.
  8. Yeah, i have to put my scale away because i was weighing myself waaay too much, and then you don't notice.
  9. 8lbs isnt bad though! thats good! think of it another way! 8lbs is more than most newborn babies!! Thats a little more than a lb a day!
  10. I usually eat string cheese, and i have some PB2, the chocolate peanut butter one is sooooo good! I sometimes put it in my greek yogurt (plain or vanilla)
  11. My surgeon warned me that there is usually a stall around 3 weeks, and that you may even a couple lbs, but its just your body getting used to everything. Itll pass, don't be discouraged! I hit a 3 week stall but i was so busy moving i barely noticed (thank goodness)
  12. I am 5 weeks tomorrow, and I have lost about 25 since surgery. Everyone varies, and there are plateaus and stalls for both surgeries. Whichever you choose, it really helps to have after pictures. I take one every wednesday (give or take a day), that way when i get discouraged that i think i should be loosing a lb a day, i can look at the pictures and notice the difference The biggest thing is getting into a long term eating habit that will help you succeed for life, not just for a year or two.
  13. i have noticed things that i used to like before, like some crystal lights and some protein drinks are too sweet to me now. Same with stuff that has too much salt.
  14. I stoped having gas pains around a week later. Gas x strips help, and since you started farting itll be downhill from here
  15. Its coming up fast!! If you need some support, just add me or message me So nervous, but it's an excited nervous!

  18. I can't wait to find out my nsvs! I find out my surgery date next week, and even though i am nervous I am way more excited!!! I can't wait for all the things people have listed!
  19. They are prolly just worried, but you also have to think about that it will ultimately lead to a fuller, longer life. I got the same reaction from my grandmother, but it is your decision in the end, and you will have the support of those here, and you will find so much support from so many people, it will make the choice easier.
  20. Seeing the reaction of my family and friends, "DAMN YOU LOOK GREAT!" Have "big" be out of the description people have of me.
  21. 1. Not worry about weight restrictions, like fitting in seats 2. Better bedroom time 3. Run after my nieces and nephews and can keep up 4. Start a family 5. Not have this stupid pain in my lower back from these big o' boobies
  22. They have a unflavored protein powder that you can put into various food. I know unjury has some and Nectar makes some Nectar "Medical".
