My new plan to reduce snacking habits/ increase weight loss
I feel your struggle! I am 10 months post and have found myself snacking as well. I have days that I feel hungry and others not so much. I have a couple of things that ate a BIG weakness for me and I am battling those. I am really trying to get back on track! I have about 40 more pounds I would like to lose. Hopefully I can get there by 18 months out. That is my personal goal! We can do this!

Had follow up yesterday. Have lost 47% of excess body weight. Not too bad but not where I wanted to be at this point. It will come but its slowing way down. Been fighting some pretty heavy depression last couple of weeks. Thyroid levels are way off and hormones are crazy. Been a tough road here lately.- 7 months post op and on a 3 month stall!
Thank you all for the pep talk! I really loved what you said pookeyism! One day at a time.- 7 months post op and on a 3 month stall!
Getting real tired of scales not moving. Beginning to think I am done losing. Guess 66 pounds is it for me. Getting depressed. Will lose a couple of pounds and then gain them back. I retain a lot of fluid. Been having bleeding issues since preop non stop bleeding. Hysterectomy coming my way beginning of the year. And my thyroid is a huge issue. Changed meds 3 times now since surgery. I am very greatful for what I have lost dont get me wrong. But I feel as if I'm a failure at this. Going from a size 26 to a 16 is wonderful. But I still have 30 to 40 more pounds to lose to be where I want to be at. Afraid I will not make it- Clavicles are the new cleavage
I love my collarbones as well! Its great. And feeling my hip and rib bones when I lay down. You look awesome!- Almost 7 months post op
Thank you all for the comments. I do see an endo cause I am also type 1 diabetic. We just changed my meds a couple of weks ago for the second time since surgery. Hoping it will work.- Almost 7 months post op
I will be 7 months post op on 8/31/13 and have lost 66 lbs. so far. I am a little bummed cause I am not losing much. I am battling thyroid issues as well. Had total thyroidectomy 5 years ago and now with the weight loss my levels are all out of wack. I am guessing that probably has a lot to do with it. I have people all the time tell me how great I look but I still see myself as "fat" and I hate that. When will I ever be " normal" or will I ever?- Before and After?
198 looks great on you!!! Your beautiful!- Am i doing something wrong?
Wow!! I can only dream of looking like that after my weightloss! You are absolutely beautiful!- For those curious about getting your DRANK on...
I am almost 5 months post down 60 pounds. I love beer and have been drinking a few here and there. It will definitely slow ur weight loss down unless u go to the gym and work it off.- 3 1/2 months check-up
No not off meds. Unfortunately I am a type 1 diabetic but I was on the pump and now just having to do a couple of shots a day!- 3 1/2 months check-up
Went really good. I am down total of 53.6 pounds (by there scale this afternoon and 56 lbs by mine from this morning) of course I was naked and it was first thing this morning. ...anyway....some of my labs were off a little. B12 is low so starting shots once a month to boost that up. Vit D is low which I was deficient in before surgery so no big surprise there. Lipid panel was great. A1C down to 5.2! Things are food...very good. They want me down 16 pounds at my next visit in 3 months. Surely I can get that off! That would put me in onederland!!! Whoop whoop!- 106 pounds and counting
Absolutely gorgeous! - 8 month post op
