  1. Thank you! Yes, I had thought of doing that. I'd have to ask my surgeons office to see how much they charge for fills, if it's not a ridiculous amount, I would totally start earlier and pay for the first few fills my self. You are so right, my health is worth it!
  2. What is the green zone? Also, do you feel like you are not as hungry now with the fills?
  3. My insurance won't pay for fills until 3 months after the procedure, so I won't get a fill until 3 months after surgery. Has anyone else experienced this? I thought they would cover monthly fills for the first year at least? I'm scared this will effect my weight loss time greatly.
  4. I've heard it from doctors and other people who had WLS. My doctor favors the sleeve, but I dont like the idea of having half my stomach cut off. I would like everything to stay intact. Maybe if sleeve plication was approved in the US and not in clinical trials, I would go that route. But for now I'm scheduled for lap band and I am glad to hear that there is a low percentage of people who had complications after a long period of time with lapband.
  5. Hello I was wondering how successful lap band surgery is 1,2,3,4...8, etc years from when you originally received it. Ive heard that a lot of people have needed to take it out due to complications. I haven't heard much about people with lapband for longer periods of time any complications. Does it have a high success rate in the future?
  6. Aww, thank you! This will help me greatly when I go grocery shopping! I'm sure you look beautiful and feel a lot healthier. I'll take the excess skin any day over the excess weight haha
  7. Hello Everyone! I am new to Lap Band Talk and will soon be new to the Lap Band World, in July! I have some questions I'm hoping some of you can help me with. Such as, what Vitamins do you take? What regimen do you use to keep your skin taught? Also, what were your favorite liquids and mushies to eat after surgery? Also, whats your favorite Protein shake? Thanks in advance! Feel free to answer any of the questions, it doesn't have to be all them haha
