  6. What a beautiful dog! They are so loyal and loving. Definitely a pick me up while going through all this! Glad you're fighting for what you need!
  7. I'm not able to say on the scope. I wish I knew, if the scope is dangerous I would say hold off? I am not a Dr. so I'm only going on my personal opinion. This is such a delicate hard place to be at...but you don't want to risk damage to yourself. I read on here someone else was given steroids to reduce swelling. Is this an option for you? I know people have suffered strictures on here. Perhaps if you started a thread asking about what was done and when, someone will know. As it is, I believe this thread gets looked over because it started and remains titled "question about going to the bathroom" I believe there is knowledge here we haven't heard from yet and I want you to gain some insight on what route to take for your closed up sleeve. Please post some threads about your situation and let's see what answers we get... Lindsay your doing great... Keep asking questions to your Dr. All the why's and how's... I want you to feel better by the safest means possible.
  8. I only take a multi vitamin and a siblingual b vitamin. All my labs are perfect. Best to go by your own lab work. It's so different with all of us. I hope your heaving gets better, that is rough!
  9. Lindsay, are you admitted or still in the ER? What Dr is treating you now and what is his medical plan for you?
  10. See if your Dr will call u in zofran for when u feel naseaus. Yes, stick to liquids a lil longer...broths, water, tea, popsicles and protein drink. Hope u continue to improve. Remember go slow...my Dr didn't have me on purees til 21 days out. Some people need that long. Take it easy
  11. Stay strong and thank you for sharing. It's a battle worth fighting! May we all grow stronger and learn to truly love ourselves.
  12. What kind of surgery? What was his explanation and prognosis for you without the surgery? I'm sending up constant prayers, thank u for keeping us updated!

  16. Hey Chad, I get the frozen ready to eat grilled chicken nuggets/strips...they are easily microwaved and very filling. I also like to take frozen precooked hamburger patties to microwave, one of those and I'm stuffed. Starkist has great tuna pouches that are great as well. Those are a few. Hope your doing well! Oh also string cheese, I always include one with my meal

  20. I'm using my electric blanket right now and it feels soooo good. Cozy and warm I should have thought of this right after surgery. My back and shoulders hurt a lot after surgery.
  21. I'm only 5'2 so I'd love to be a size 4 but a 6 would be fantastic. Currently in a size 10 and losing slowly ugh
