  4. I called Medicare a second time and they acted ignorant to the fact that there was ever a decision made. Of course the reps on the phone are the last to know.
  5. Please have faith. They will get to the bottom of this. You have many on this site praying for you.
  6. Best of luck!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  7. You poor thing. This has to be very scary for you. Where do you live? Who was your surgeon? Sounds like they made the sleeve too small. You are in my prayers. Best of luck. I'm sure everything will be alright.
  8. If you retained all that water, I would go visit your PCP and discuss this with them. That would put your mind at ease.
  9. You will do just great.
  10. That is not a requirement with my doctor that I know of.

You can do it. When I quit smoking after 35 years I kept telling myself "I never want to go thru this again". I have been smoke free 12 years. Doing both at the same time is quite a feat. You will be in my prayers.
  15. Have you reseached the new doctor? Which one is more experienced? This should be the most important question. Good luck.

  17. Good for you. And to make it clear the 20 lbs pre-op do count.LOL
  18. As my NUT said at a meeting, Watch totally what you eat with no treats or hardly any until you reach goal. Then you can figure out what your body will tolerate without gaining weight. Jeeni you just started your journey, don't sabotage yourself right at the beginning. I'm pre-op so I don't know what you are going through but I hope I can refrain from eating all the things that got me hear in the first place, bacause it is not a good place.
  19. Hi I don't think age had anything to do with it. It sounds like you did all the things your insurance required, I know nothing about Cigna. Don't be nervous, all are friends here and try to help everyone. Best of luck and let us know what happens.
  20. Special K as I've said before keep the laughs coming. Maybe a new career is in the making (stand-up)

  22. You can count on my prayers!!!!!!!!!!
  23. What happened that they thought your liver was was larger than normal? You have not seen the surgeon yet! Who examined your stomach to determine this? Do you drink alcohol a lot? Just curious. This is one the few things I did not have to go through yet.
  24. God bless both of you and may you have minimal pain and a swift recovery.
  25. Hi Sounds like you are close to my age. I am 65, Type 2 diabetic, on 4 shots of insulin a day plus pills, plus all the other medical issues. If this can help with all my health issues than I am going for it. It seems there are not many of us that are older. I wish I had done something years ago but I can not look back. I have to take the plunge and hope to better the life I have left. Please keep in contact and share any of your health info with me. Thank you, Mokee
