People are rude... I had a co-worker say yesterday "you won't look good skinny" I told her I would look good skinny, and I'll be health as well. Made me soooo mad. I didint' even mention it to her either, she had heard through the grape-vine I was having surgery...

a pillow to spling your abdomen with with when getting up or coughing. Helps with the pain/discomfort... Stuff to read/computer/phone of course. Hope all goes okay with you...

I'm taking 7 days off after surgery just in case I feel like crap. I can't work as a nurse for 12 hours feeling bad... I have to be attentive to 30 patients and can't afford to be distracted with pain at work... this is my weeks vacation for this 6 months...

Is it your food choices Maybe? Might need to step back down to ful liquidsl and see if it still happens to help determine if it is food choices or if your too tight... Take care and keep in touch

I found a surgery buddy today, and got my passport! It's been a really good day. I'm feeling excited and encouraged about my upcoming surgery Aug.28th. I found my surgery buddy on verticalsleevetalk.com because I couldn't find anyone having lapband on the same day/same surgeon. I'm so glad I found here, she's really cool. We'll meet at the jet-blue terminal at San Diego airport august 28th at 0900, then shuttled to the hospital for our pre-op ekg/labwork then surgery! My passport picture is terrible. I had worked 12 hours on night shift and didn't have any make-up on. They may not let me back in. I look like a hardened criminal...Well, I'm at work, that's why I'm up at this time, trying to work extra to have a little extra money for the trip. Thanks for reading my jumbled thoughts...

I found a lady on verticalsleevetalk.com that's having surgery the same day with me with Dr. Almanza in Mexico. I'm ecstatic that I found her. When we meet at the airport I'll feel like there's a familiar face! I know it'll be a big relief for me as my friend that's going with me on the trip is staying in san diego while I have surgery to save her from having to spend 200.00 on a passport just to sit and watch me sleep probably. She says she would have bought it if I wanted her to but I didn't wish to put anymore expense on her. I'll be okay but it's still really great to have a chance to get to know someone who'll be there as well.... Just a waitin'!

Sounds like a really good RN. NOT! Why would she say anything but encouraging words to a pre-op bandster? I mean there's being honest, but telling negative lap-band stories? come on now...
