  1. Had EDG yesterday, going in for Pre-Op shortly. Hope I get the time of the surgery on Friday. Sounds like everyone is coming along! Sending you all well wishes today.
  2. Congrats! I am looking forward to that. My surgery is June 15th. I think Baggy clothes end up hiding the loss, I had lost 40 pounds in 2010 and once I bought some clothes that actually fit - people started noticing.
  3. Talked to the Dr.'s office yesterday - she thinks it is due to TOM, which started yesterday. This morning I woke up and lost 3 lbs. whew...hopefully more to come.
  4. I hope everything went great today! Welcome to your new journey.
  5. I started SB Saturday the 2nd. I have been following it pretty strict, I have not lost not even an ounce of weight. I am so paranoid now I will not lose anything and they will do my surgery. YIKES
  6. First off the HBO documentary is wonderful. It really is enlightening and quite sad to see what the future might hold for the children. I have watched it several times just to keep the motivation. It has just motivated me more for the surgery. After talking to several people who have had the surgery some more successful than others - they all say that they would do it again and that you have to change your habits and your mind set. This is NOT a cure, but a tool to help. I love the power steering reference - perfect. I am having surgery on the 15th and my mind has been going 90 to nothing for weeks now.
