Lol, I purposely told the biggest loud mouth in our department, specifically so she could get the word out. Ironically, two other nurses have come out of the closet about their plans to have WLS too. The truth shall set you free.

I am blessed to have a family that supports every decision that I make. As for my co-workers, just about everybody there has had their boobs done and tummy tucks, so I just raise my eyebrow when I hear something negative, and ask them if they really want me to go there.

I'm an OR night nurse on a unit that operates 24/7. For the nurses here, how long before you went back to work post-op?

Hello everybody, I just wanted to introduce myself and let everyone know that you are doing an amazing job on this forum. Everyone is so positive, which is so refreshing. With that said, I'm just beginning the process of meeting the requirements for insurance, so I'll be here reading and enjoying this forum for many months before I get close to a surgery date. Just wanted to say thanks for all the info!
