  6. I got banded on the 24th of last month and I really dont have an appeite i have to make myself eat. And I know that i am not even getting close to the nutrients that I need. But my surgeon did say that my pouch is really small, but I have no appeitet. Do you know if they left any salin in your band or is it empty for now? because I know my surgeon did leave a little in mine. Well I wish you all the luck in the world. And drink, drink , drink your water that is so you stay hydrated.
  7. I am 8 days post op and I have been having this burning and pulling sensation right under the major scar. Its not red or oozing or any of that its just when I stand up and sit down. Does anyone out there know what this is all about.
  8. It will seem like forever waiting, but it is worth the wait. I am 6 days post op and I have BCBS in WV and they required 6 months and a excercise program at a gym for me. Well dont give up and make sure that you are really comfortable with the doctor who will perform the surgery. Good luck.

Well I wish you all the luck in the world, I am 6 days post -op and I am feeling alot better than my first 3 days. I read about your mother-in-law comming 3 days after you surgery. Well of course everyone is different but you will still be figuring out different feelings and what they might mean and how much you can and can not drink. And still this day after I have been up just walking for a while I still tire easily and my doctor says this is normal. So dont try to push your self while she is visitng and I am sure they love you not matter what and if you are not up to socializing or interacting to much with them just let them know and relax everything will be fine. Again good luck with everything and everyone. And the hubby will suprise you and read that book.
  10. I am 6 days post op and I am really starting to feel better, especially now that I have found this site. I am still on my clear liquid diet untill friday and then I can go to full liquids. I have a question though that maybe someone could help me with. Once I start drinking something it feels like I am having a contraction and it feels like things are tighten up in my belly. Does anyone know what this feeling is that I am experiencing? And is it normal? I was thinking that maybe it's me getting full. And thats the way its telling me to stop. And my other question is that I have the items listed that I can have on a full liquid diet but can you please give me some advice on what you have eaten and different ways or types of smoothies that will help me though this next week. Look forward to hearing from you guys.
