  1. I called my insurance today and they said skin removal can be covered it it's deemed medically necessary. Anyone else like that? How the heck do I make it medically necessary to get my stomach skin removed? I've lost 115lbs
  2. So I'm about 3.5weeks out. Wednesday makes 4 weeks and my largest incision still hurts. If I'm sitting it's fine, laying down is fine, but when I stand up sometimes it feels like I'm pulling something inside. If I push on it a little it hurts..... I know everyone is different and all will heal different but I'm getting nervous something might be wrong. I already called my doctor and left a message. :-/

*hahaha* I drank Premier Protein. I got them from Costo. I used the chocolate and blended a banana in it. That made it so much easier to get down.
  4. Thanks guys!! Ya'll put a smile on my face! I needed that!
  5. I actually sucked on a Fritos today to just get the taste. I am soooooo over yogurt, protein shakes, and broth. I still have 6 more days of liquid! Ugh :-/

I'm feeling ok. I'm sore but only in one incision. The doctor said it was the deepest incision. It hurts to get up and down. You never know how much you use your stomach mussels until they cut them. Thank you for your prayers. I prayed for you to have his strength and courage. You'll be fine and i know once this little part is over, we will both be happy we did it.

I got sleeved on the 23rd. Almost a week ago. I have my follow up on Thursday. I am trying to get all my fluids in, but it's been hard. I will also pray for you. Not too many know of my surgery either. I don't know why, I have never been embarrassed to be a big girl. *heehee*

I am too. I have been having a hard recovery so I am leaning on my Lord a little harder. I hope everyone is doing well!
  10. The first day was the hardest for me. Not that I was hungry but my mind wanted to put something into my hands. You can do it. Just remember what the goal is. Good luck!!
  11. Thank you, everyone, so much! I am so glad I found this page!! All your words are great!!
  12. Just had my surgery on May 23rd and I am starting to feel sad. I am still very much uncomfortable. I guess i thought i would be and around by now and i am not even there yet. i still think of food a lot and wonder if I am going to get through this. I guess my addition to food was stronger than I thought. Forgive me, this sounds like a pitty-party.
