  1. I have it REALLY bad, and never had it before surgery. It is so bad sometimes I wake up literally choking on acid. I am 4 months post op. not trying to scare you, but I want you to know it is a real PITA and not just something that requires medicine. Even with medicine (PPI) it is still there.
  2. It is frustrating to see someone post that they lost FORTY pounds in 8 weeks and they are sad. That is 5 pounds a week...impossible without this surgery.
  3. Today I weighed in at 151 pounds. This is 62ish pounds from where I started 4 months ago. As I was filling my bath I noticed it takes a LOT longer. So, in the peace and quiet of my bath I tried to visualize what 62 looks like. Wow! 9 average size newborn babies The weight of 8 gallons of milk This is 12 pounds, so this times 5! Or...12 of these! WOW!
  4. How far out are you guys that can hardly see them?
  5. This is a bit upsetting to me. The ticker documented my weight loss from my date of surgery. Surely there is a way to get back to document it? Very inconsiderate for you to remove this without notice. Also, the slowness of the load time probably has a whole lot more to do with the massive amount graphic heavy advertisements plastered all of the boards. NINE + on this page alone.
  6. Thanks, I will try both!
  7. Hi guys! I am almost 4 months out and my scars are pretty dark. How long did it take for yours to lighten? Is this normal?
  8. So they deleted my ticker, without notifying me. This is where I tracked my weight loss. Is there a way to access it still to copy the info? I sure hope so...
  9. Here is my first LBD. 3 1/2 months in. Hopefully my LBD turns into a too big black dress
  10. I had a big indent, and at 3 1/2 months post op it has went away and is the same as the others.
  11. Pre-op I was 213, in this photo I was 158ish.
  12. Before and during - pre-op and 3 months out.
  13. Thanks for the feedback guys. Maybe it was a fluke.
  14. So, I suffer from VERY heavy periods. I was scheduled to have ablation done in December, but my last (3rd period since surgery) was NORMAL and not heavy. In fact, it was really light. Has anyone else noticed changes here? I know this could be temporary considering my body has completely changed, but does anyone have any input that is farther out than me? (only 3 1/2 months)
  15. 213 to 157. 56 pounds gone for good! Sleeved July 18th
  16. I ask because I am afraid I am going to stop having those weight loss days.
  17. Just curious if anyone else loses like me..I am just over 3 months out. I lose nothing for 10ish days at a time, then lose a pound a day for 4-5 days then back to nothing for 10ish days with no real difference in eating or exercise. Anyone else?
  18. A little lose skin on my arms and on my belly, but I am only just under 3 months post op (will be 3 months on the 18th) my stomach already was in bad shape from 3 pregnancies and all my excess weight...so I will almost certainly need skin removal there once I meet goal, just because there is not good skin there to elasticize.
  19. You look FANTASTIC! Congratulations on your SUCCESS!
  20. Then don't. When in a stall measure yourself! You might not be losing weight but you ARE losing inches. It isn't possible to eat 600 calories a day and your body not react!
