nope. My dr had me take prilosec for 2 months because it helps you stomach to heal. I have not taken them since then and no problems :)

I have it REALLY bad, and never had it before surgery. It is so bad sometimes I wake up literally choking on acid. I am 4 months post op. not trying to scare you, but I want you to know it is a real PITA and not just something that requires medicine. Even with medicine (PPI) it is still there.

Somtimes but it is minor. I may take a over the counter pill maybe 3 times a week. I call it sour stomach.
