I'm 40 years old, and I have been overweight since age 11. Some pretty traumatic things happened to me around then, and I just recently have started coping in a healthy way with it. In the past, yo-yo weight gain/loss was easy; I would gain a bunch of weight when I was in a funk, and then when I felt better I would just start jogging again & the weight would go down. This last "up", however, has been really hard on my 40-year old body, and I cannot jump back into working out without hurting myself, and the weight keeps piling on! It's time to end this yo-yo trend once and for all!
