Hi, I was wondering because I'm the one who takes care of our 7-month lab mix the most. He is 52lbs right now. He can be 10lbs heavier in a month, and he is very hyper. I'm finding out my surery date this Friday, and I'm hoping its a January date. Any input would be appreciated. Thank You!

Yes, I have UHC and had to do the 6 months of supervised dieting. I also had to get a psych eval. Then as soon as I was told I have been approved, I started working on my clearances.

I'm going to call my surgeons office tomorrow to see if they can finally give me a date! I'm so excited I started working on my clearances approximately one month ago. My blood work showed an infection and high blood sugar levels. I had to go on antibiotics for ten day and get my blood work done again. I was cleared today and my PCP office sent everything this afternoon. I will keep everyone posted

I just re-read my post and it was very self-centered.. I hope you get approved please be patient and don't let them win! Try to go with the flow but also be involved in the process. Make sure you understand what they want. Good Luck!

I'm pre-op but would like to tell people once I lose a substantial amount of weight and of course that would be only family and friends..

I'm 5'7".. My mother is 5'1".. Height plays a vital role and the shorter you are the smaller you should weigh I could never be 120lbs and look healthy but my mother could rock it!

I have UHC and I had to do the 6 months as well oh and it flew by.. Now I'm waiting to get cleared by my PCP! I had to do an upper gi, EKG, blood work, stool/urine sample and an ultrasound of my lower abdominal. Everything was good except for my blood work but I was put on antibiotics and now I'm waiting for that, and then everything will be sent to my surgeons office and then I will get my date!!! I started everything in May 2012. I'm hoping blood results are negative! Good Luck and breathe

That's a crazy dream lol I went to a dream interpretation website and I think you should check it out. Hello, I found out yesterday It took ten business days! I have UHC and I called for the first three days then decided to give them a week. So I called on Friday and found out I was approved! I almost cried on the phone haha and then my surgeons office called me and told me to start on my clearences (blood work, EKG, etc). Wow I'm soooo happy! Good Luck to everyone

The Minestrone soup is a good choice but it has Pasta. They have a dish called the, "Venetian Apricot Chicken" which is 500 calories. It's grilled and you will probably have leftovers lol they also have a "Grilled chicken Caesar Salad" Good Luck I love O.G.
