  1. Just got a fill it's my second fill and now I've noticed I burp a lot after drinking. I did just get the fill a few hours ago so I'm wondering if this is normal? I now have a total of 1cc in my band.
  2. On my left maybe six inches from belly button
  3. I take stool softeners every day and they keep me regular now.
  4. My dr had me take milk of mag for a few days post op to prevent the constipation. Worked great I must say lol
  5. I was advised to use milk of mag after my surgery and it worked very well. My surgeon told me to use it after the surgery to get things moving.
  6. I had dissolvable stitches in all mine
  7. I really like muscle milk. Not a fan of the vanilla but they have a whole lot of flavors like chocolate peanut butter, cookies and cream, malt, strawberry and lots more.
  8. In not sure what this program is you are talking about. I've never heard of it.
  9. I did broth, yogurt, sf pudding, sf Popsicles, muscle milk, vitamin water, sf jello
  10. Probably only reason my husband did them for me was because he is a paramedic. When he couldn't do them I had a friend RN who do them for me.
  11. I was on liquids for 2 weeks preop and 2 weeks post op and then 2 weeks of mushy. I ate low fat turkey chili that my surgeon approved.
  12. I was severely nauseous day 2 and 3 after surgery and I found that putting a cold wet rag over my forehead and eyes helped me. I have also heard about the running alcohol thing but I did not have any so did not try it.
  13. My surgeon allowed me to have low fat turkey chili during mushies. I like it a lot and I found it at Walmart.
  14. I did have to do them after surgery for 2 weeks because I had developed a blood clot after surgery. I was not able to do them myself so my husband gave them to me. They were very painful to me and I did bruise a lot
  15. I was banded in may and bow I have to get my gallbladder removed as well. The surgeon wants me to wait til I am off Coumadin which will be November. Im really not looking to another surgery but looking forward to the pain from gallbladder to be gone.
  16. I have not tried any lotions but I did buy a multivitamin that one a day makes that's made just for skin. Supposed to help with elasticity according to the box. They are big pills so i break them in half.
  17. I like the lean body shakes but I really like muscle milk
  18. I have had kidney stones for year anyways so i can't say my band caused any kidney stones but It did probably contribute to me getting gallstones. I have also been told that real lemon juice helps to dissolve kidney stones by my urologist. He told me to make lemonade out of real lemons and drink it often.
  19. hey i live in Tulsa and i see Dr Ladd Atkins at Lap Band Center of Oklahoma. He and his office staff are very friendly. I dont know where you had your surgery but i know he takes patients from other doctors because it says so on his website. I do not know the cost of the fills because i paid cash price for my surgery and all my fills are included in that price for the first year.
  20. I was told to take flinstones chewables after my surgery. I do not like the taste of them but i can manage to get them down.
  21. Made me nauseous but then again all pain meds like that make me nauseous.
  22. I just did bloodwork a week before my surgery
  23. I had them during surgery and I even got the shot of heparin before surgery to help prevent clots plus they had those things on my legs that massage and help circulation durin surgery and somehow I still got a clot a week after my surgery
  24. It was maybe a month or so before I was able to completely lay on my port and even then it was sore.
